The Blurb
Hello again, loyal readers! A happy, happy Tuesday to one and all! The news this week comes in abundance, and I am extremely joyful for all that I have received. It seems once again that inspiration is growing in RP-Land. My dedication to the cause is paying off, as is yours. At this time I would like to thank all of those who have remained loyal to the dream. My extreme gratitude goes out to everyone who sends me updates week by week. Even those of you who take the time to play and don't mind me filling in the things I've witnessed here and there. Our numbers have not grown, but our information network has flourished!
This week I have a special project, an assignment as it may be, for all of you to carry out. After reading this week's issue of Ubique's Weekly, I want you all to think of at least one person you role-play with that has not yet experienced the glory of UW. There must be at least one other player out there that you have seen and spoken to that does not know of Ubique's Weekly. Perhaps this is even someone whom you discuss storylines with often that is unaware of the many others involved with you and your characters! I know I can think of a couple myself, and do intend on sending out a copy. What's that? Send out a copy? Why yes!
Your assignment is this: Forward one copy to someone who you think may appreciate the literary achievement that is Ubique's Weekly. Whether that person be a role-player or not is of no importance. My husband does not roleplay, but he does enjoy reading the newsletter week by week. Before hitting the send button on that forward copy, however, I encourage you all to inform your fellow player or literary critic to send in a Subscription Request. Over the past couple of weeks I have been amazed by the fact that I have needed to send out two e-mails for the complete UW newsletter. My hope is that this will become a running trend. And not just because of me taking up so much time rambling on in the Blurb. Speaking of rambling ... I'm sure you've read enough of this. So let's move on with the news! There's so much to share!
Storyline Spotlight
Recently I spoke again with the masterminds behind the Northedge University storylines. And alas I am again unable to share any new information with the lot of you. However, let us not be disheartened and let us not place blame. We all have lives outside of the internet world, despite whether or not we would prefer to admit such truths. Life is short, and so is the time that comes with it. We can't all sit down and think of everything that everyone might want to know about our characters and storylines, let alone remember to tell anyone! With life comes stress, and sometimes we just can't find the time to do all that we set ourselves out to do. So, loyal readers, here's where we need your help. Another project if you will...
Students of Northedge University! Here my plea! Help me to help the masterminds come up with some wonderful news to share. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there who is curious about certain things concerning the school year for our young characters. Your second assigment is to think long and hard. For next week's issue of Ubique's Weekly, in addition to your usual news and updates, I want each and every one of you to send me a questionaire. Yes, that's right! Let's collaborate! What sort of things do you, as the player, want to know about Northedge that you think your young characters should know?
Some primary examples: Who are the teachers and what do they teach? How are the semesters divided? When do students receive their report cards, and how would we figure out what sort of grades they receive? What is the cost of tuition? Is it necessary for attending students to live in the dorms? What are the dorms like? How are they built and allotted? Are there any school programs of special note? Such as dances and theatrical productions? Even sports events?
There are so many more questions that I'm certain each of you can think up on your own. These are just a few of my own that come to mind. Just a few. Next week I would like to include a questionaire list in this section of Ubique's Weekly. I will be hoping to receive a bundle from each and every one of you. And when I do, I intend on formulating a list to print here for the masterminds to peruse over and answer as they see fit. Help me to help you keep the dream of cooperative roleplaying alive by completing this assignment.
This Just In
Whew! I sure am long-winded today. It must be my overwhelming excitement due to the insane amount of updates I received this week! Not to mention that I'm feeling much better than I have in a long time. The writer's spark has awakened again. To rejoice, let's move along with this week's Headlines and see what sort of collaborative things you many masterminds have come up with yourselves.
Headlines
Disembodied Voice: Patrons of the Red Dragon Inn might have been a little baffled earlier this week when a female voice suddenly spoke in the crowd. A voice that apparently did not belong to any-body in particular. The tender on duty that evening, the enigma known as Sid (HOST Game Obsdn) did not seem to be too disturbed by the presence of the mysterious spirit, however. In fact, she seemed to know the entity rather well. "Witnesses" were quoted to have overheard some snippets of conversation. In which the "ghost" is reported to have presented Sid with a series of riddles:
On the rise of the Springtime Dawn,
Sparkling Chrysalis did greet the Sun.
Awakened Child to world unknowing,
From whence it came or where it be going.
Two worlds united by terrible Fate,
Child of vengeance, essence of Hate.
Pain and violence directs its course,
Path of chaos in blinding force.
Speak not the knowing for risk of doom,
And when Time is willing the blossom will bloom.
That being the first mystery. Sid was reported to have stated that there is a storm coming. To which the voice replied, "Very soon." The second riddle is quoted as follows: "There is one who stalks the Moon. One who mingles with Roses. The Child follows the Stars and basks in Power." Just precisely what these morbidly poetic riddles mean is anyone's guess. But perhaps Sid is right. Perhaps a storm is coming ... very soon.
Fall Into Adventure: The Kodiak Falls Office of Blackjack Adventures is open for business. Contact Administrative Director of Operations Irina Braeden to schedule an adventure package with Chasz Havery, BJA's resident Mudbogger (See Classifieds for more details).

Halloween Masque: (Repeated from last week's Multiverse Minutes). Dey and Fayalki are planning their Fourth Annual Halloween Masque, hosted by Dey's brother Bayland. This will take place on 23 October, and be held at Dey's ancestral home in Glenchester. A hyperlink to the actual room will be included in a subsequent newsletter.
All are invited. Wear your favorite costume, as there will be a contest to guess who's behind the Masque. In this case, "costume" is a temporary screen name you haven't used before in public, or that's unknown to most of those attending.
Invitations will be mailed in time for everyone to make arrangements for the evening. If you don't get an invitation, come anyway! Ubique's Weekly will keep you posted on further information as it comes to us.
Haunted Hayrides: Notices are being posted throughout the city concerning a special event that will be taking place throughout the month of October. In celebration of the coming holiday, Dr. Maranya Valkonan will be hosting a Spook Spectacular Haunted Hayride event at her ranch every weekend of the month. Run by her gardener Jack Bishop, all rides are free of charge. However, donations will be accepted to help fund a future Winter Wonderland event scheduled to take place in December. At the start of the trail, volunteers will be selling snacks and beverages: hot cider and slices of pumpkin pie to name a couple. All are welcome to visit and have their pants scared off!
On The Crime Beat: Anyone with information in the case of the murder of one Larry "Grabber" Nelson, a perpetrator previously charged with five counts of aggravated assault and two counts of petty theft, around the Silver Moon Inn as of February 29th, 2004, the kidnapping of Irina Braeden on March 21st, 2004, the alleged assault of Morgan Knight at the Silver Moon Inn on April 6th, 2004 and the murder of Paul and Mary Hanson is strongly urged to contact Deputy Marshall Wynter.
Rhydin Baywatch?: Rhydin Shore Patrol is still investigating a massacre at what appears to have been a luau. Details on the shooting spree are being withheld by authorities. A total of twenty-six people were shot to death with a variety of weapons. Until further notice, a square mile of Rhydin's coast is closed to the public.
Shameless Plug: One of the greatest things about freeform chatroom roleplaying is that, in a sense, it is equivalent to writing one tremendous story with an overwhelming amount of collaborators! In essence, we are all writers. And as such I would like to take a moment to direct everyone's attention to a literary masterpiece that I had the privelage of reviewing my own self. The mastermind Mutual Endeavors member The Multifarious has been telling me of a book review he has been working on, and I can now tell you all that it is a completed work of wonderfully written prose. So allow me to direct your attention to the RPGnet: Review of Book of Erotic Fantasy (http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/10/10739.phtml). This essay is not for the faint of heart or easily offended, however (as the introduction proclaims). Though I feel as adults we can appreciate this essay. Do enjoy! Silver Barn Hodown!: Earlier this week, visitors to the Silver Moon Inn were reported to have overheard what sounded like some sort of party going on in the nearby stables. Not very many of the passing patrons bothered to investigate, considering that all sorts of strange things happen in Rhy'Din. However, one eyewitness reports spotting the most elusive Ehzoterik VonArcanum Tempestus exiting the stable in the wee early morning hours. Through the rumor channel, most have concluded that it must have been nothing more than an inter-dimensional convention of some sort. One in which they are very glad to have not been a part of. Ehz's parties are rumored to be quite ... wild.
Wild Animal Attack!: Local investigators are baffled by the discovery of the death of one of their own. Local RPD Patrolman, Adam McCord, was found dead this past week. His body was discovered by a local housewife early Friday morning when she was out walking her dog. The witness has asked to remain annonymous as the sights she witnessed were too atrocious to want to bring herself to any unwanted attention. Crime scene investigators presume that the death was caused by a wild animal attack, presumedly a large canine of some sort. Officer McCord's body was discovered literally torn to shreds, with a gaping wound in the throat that is believed to be the primary cause of death. The jugular vein punctured and throat ripped open. City officials have informed the local pound to be on their highest alert for what they assume to be an unstable, perhaps rabid animal. No further information was able to be attained on this case.
In Other News...
Once again the vast majority of the updates that I received for this week have been delivered in the form of individual Character Updates. This is no surprise considering that it is much easier to concentrate on each of our characters individually. Hopefully, to make up for the loss in characters listed on the template, and the number of subscribers, each of you will take into consideration accomplishing assignment number one for me. But I won't stress the point any more than is necessary. Let's get on with the news!
Ahriman (TheAngraMaiynu): He is up to something, something bad. Rumor has it that he managed to somehow resurrect Suphlatus and bind him to his will. The demon Belphegor is also said to be allied with him.
Anna (AriannaRavenwood): The blue sister helped privately celebrate her niece Elaine and nephew Ethan's birthday this past week. There's still no word on whether Arianna will return to her husband's clan lands to rejoin her husband Galen (Galen Ravenwood) and her son Brion or if she will remain in Rhydin a bit longer.
Ariana (ArianaMacGyldren, SMI Ariana): The green sister, along with her husband Galen (Galen MacGyldren) and daughter Elaine (Elaine Aqua), still resides at her husband and brother in law's clan lands. She privately celebrated her daughter Elaine and son Ethan's birthday this past week with family. Ariana has pretty much stayed out of the public eye, save to work at her Bakery as usual.
Caife (SMI Multifarious): Caife, and the silent twin of his that has been keeping him company at the Silver Moon over the last few months, has been stolen (kidnapped? It's a tough distinction). It appears that he was taken to a base deep under the sea and questioned about the powers and numbers of the armies of Rhydin. He gave his questioners extensive information on the commando team known as the Super Friends, and he successfully infected his captors mainframe with a viral version of himself. Shortly thereafter, however, he was crushed into scrapmetal. Or so it seems...
Carmine (TaciturnMerc): He is not too happy with his son right now. Skipping school and running off to put holes in his body. Not allowed. So he grounded him. He also went shopping with Dris to find a birthday present for Elaine. Fortunately they were both able to agree on something and be done with shopping quickly. It took some convincing to prevent Dris from getting "the pink one."
Carolyn Valkonan (DreamsInBurgundy): Rumor has it she has spending more and more time skipping out late at night to hang out with her friends. Is this affecting her school work any? That remains to be seen.
Chasz Havery (Too Fly Havery): Chasz has learned to believe people when they tell you they're selling you poisonous drinks. It is supsected grief or guilt drove Chasz to drown his sorrows in alcohol. Chasz made the mistake of inviting a visit from The Green Fairy. Mr. Havery had an adverse reaction to the bitter drink and subsequently passed out from the shock of the bitterness and the harsh 180 proof venom. As one might expect, his senses chose to take their leave of him for the remainder of the night. Joe Yamada and Yvonne Rivard were kind enough to see after Chasz for the night. In the morning, Chasz battled his hangover with the help of Rick Toehfen and lots of yerba mate. In a bold move, Chasz has sworn of booze ... just not women ... yet.
Deputy Marshall Wynter (Rachael Wynter): The scarred law woman in black is working on wrapping up certain investigations (see Headlines). Rachael received information about a recent series of ritualistic murders from an anonymous informant and is currently investigating this lead.
Dinosaurs (Supersaur Love): The dynamic duo of Troodons, Pinfeathers and his mate, made another brief visit to the Silver Moon. The female's appetite is through the roof and ol' Pinfetahers is looking quite pleased with himself. Can it mean anything? Of course it does. It should be noted Troodons prefer chauffeurs to most other types of henchmen 2-1.
Doctor Maranya Tatiana Valkonan (Maranya Valkonan): She's tending to her patients as usual, including one of the tenders at the Silver Moon Inn. The good Doctor continues to spend time volunteering her medical services at a local free clinic. Maranya is very pleased with the landscaping on her ranch and looks forward to the improvements for the upcoming holidays. However, the strain of keeping up with her busy schedule overall continues to take its toll.
Dris (BardGaIIant, SMI Dris): The more he watches Carmine deal with his son, the more he reminisces about the good old days when he was a teenager. Waxing sympathetic, he has taken to turning a blind eye on the fact that sometimes he's aware of the boy sneaking out (breaking curfew and defying the nature of being grounded!). Despite thinking Carmine is being harsh on the boy and needs to give him more freedom, he is keeping his opinions strictly to himself. On a happier note, he managed to get the old bear out of the house to go shopping for a birthday present. Hopefully Elaine is pleased with the plush green elephant the pair picked out for her.
Dr. Newborn (Nigel Newborn): Dr. Newborn, chief forensic investigator for the Rhydin Municipality, has returned from a conference and is said to be overwhelmed by the backlog of cases which accumulated during his absense. Many are relieved that Dr. Newborn is alive and well despite rumors to the contrary. Some report Dr. Newborn thinks he might have been better off if he had been killed but he says this with his tongue planted firmly in his cheek.
Echo (ohcEtnarticlaceR): Echo has been messing up a lot lately and it's unclear whether he is a force for good or evil. Some things are better left unexplored.
Ehzoterik VonArcanum Tempestas (Ehzoterik): Rumor has it that Ehz recently hosted an unofficial western style barn dance hodown in the Silver Moon Inn's stable this past week. Just what was everyone's favorite, friendly, resident psychopath up to this time?
Elaine (Elaine Aqua): Elaine celebrated her eleventh birthday this past week with her family, including her twin brother Ethan. She got a lot of presents, including a still-packaged spork from the school cafeteria from Salvador, a sea shell with purple and green sheen inside from Rei, and a green plush elephant from Carmine and Dris. No exploring jaunts for her this week. Elaine really misses her brother Banshee (Banshee Aqua) and really truly doesn't believe he's truly gone.
Emmy (Empress Grayfur): The Empress Emerald of Grayfur has found NO time to do much of anything other than tend to her week old kittens. She has been very protective of them, hissing at anyone save Ariana and Elaine who venture too close. She has also been very put out by the the very idea of anyone daring to name them before they have chosen people to serve them!
Faye: She Who Tends the Dead (Faye Random): Late Saturday evening into the wee hours of Sunday morning, the Linewalker decided to pay a visit to an old haunt. Something that was inspired by a conversation she held in previous weeks with one Guthorm Othinsson. She was grateful she did consider the option and act upon it, for she had the opportunity to speak to an old friend she has not seen in too long. Will she return to visit Sid again? Only time will tell.
Gem (Gemethyst): Gem is recovering from having her arm cut off. Yes, someone cut her arm off, to get rid of the demon taint that had been put into her by Lionel, the Evil Overseer of the City Guard. Melarrna sliced and diced her before she knew what was coming. Mer had held her still with her surprisingly indomitable will and some sort of freeze spell/mind control thingy. Which let Mel slash and hack. He did have the goodness to regenerate her arm, at least, and so she does have two again. Would not be much of a thief without it! She spent the rest of the night and next day being pampered by her son Rei. He is quite the sweet boy when he wants to be. She feels like she is getting closer and closer to her son.
The next few days brought her news of his skipping school, along with his friends. She heard a nasty little rumor about some sort of wild ...erm... something ... happening in the barn outside the SMI. She did a little damage control and paid a lot of gold...and that rumor died a quick death. She has not had either the desire or the courage to ask her son about such things. He is 16..almost 17... after all. If he wants to conduct ... such things ... then it is not really ... it is sort of too late for her to ... oh for pete's sake! She is most certainly not going to tell Kakabel! Besides, those damned stars likely already did that. Her relationship with him is going well, by the way. He is spending far more time with her. She is very often to be found with a smile on her face.
Guthorm (Guthorm Othinsson): There has been little time for sitting with friends, but when he is taking his little bit of leisure, most likely he comes these days with sword and shield and perhaps even a battle axe. If there is little time for sitting, there is plenty of trouble taking his time...there has been more than enough trouble down at the docks. A broken cargo crane, crashing down onto a ship, drowning many, and even he was dragged down, tangled in lines...and in return, rumor has it that not too long ago he set fire to a warehouse to give godt warning of his own to a few dock men, else they sabotage the dockworks again. Are they after the Norskmann? Still, it is unclear. And who sent the orc his way for that fight down there? That too, is unsolved. And then there are the orcs that are coming across the river border, very near Hops Hus. He often can be found waiting for them at the ferryman's request. The ferryman worries over damage caused to his property and injury to himself and to his family. Trouble is brewing everywhere, but nothing is making itself clear. And even still, he plans a late year sailing for his homeland, to face the Thingvellir...the council that will speak the law over the killing of Freystyr last spring. They will have the choice then to favor the outcome of the kinslaying or name Guthorm as a murderer. He is, always in the back of his mind, preparing himself for the Althingmen who will either recognize the claims he has for Hafrsfjord and Geiranger and finding justification for Freystyr's death, or condemn him for it and thus refuse him to step foot on his homeland ever again. On a better note, he has gotten two star saffires for the eyes of his new ship's prow. One day soon, Sea Raven may well get her first glimpse of the waves and a chance to loose her anger and impatience to conquer them.
Irina Braeden (Irina Braeden): In this week's installment, no news of note for this native Rhydin resident. Stay tuned.
Jack Bishop (Jackrabbit Blue): Halloween can't get here fast enough for the Valkonan Ranch gardener. Over the course of the past couple of weeks he has transformed the trails behind the ranch into a Spook Spectacular! He has been spending the rest of his time traveling around town posting up advertisements on the walls of frequently visited establishments. And the rest of his time after that scolding the good doctor for working herself too hard. He intends on having her spend time on the haunted trails to help relieve some tension. Hopefully that won't cause more! Now ... where are the youngsters in need of a cheesy scare this month?
Jim Smith (TheSpiritRemains, Zetarris): Someone had a CRAPPY night this week at the Rambling Rose. After many successful months of hanging out incognito, Jim's cover was blown by a skanky ally of Ahriman (TheAngraMainyu), a.k.a. A--holeman. The enemy agent, claiming to be a surviving victim of the evil being Zetarris, somehow forced Jim to lose his normal appearance and take on the guise of this nasty critter, whereupon he was attacked by Zonker (XZonkerX) as the old Norseman owes vengeance for a victimized son. Mithril (ASaintOfSinners) appeared to intercede and got the situation calmed down, and after retaking his disguise and finishing his root beer, Jim took off in a bad mood. Now he is gathering his nerve to go back, and likely will try to pretend nothing happened. Wish him luck.
Joker (SMI Joker, Richard D Harker): The flirtatious bartender for the Silver Moon Inn worked his normal shift this week. Joker is still worried about his younger brother Nige (Peter N Harker). The elder Harker brother is currently undergoing anger management counseling along with his usual medical treatments from the Valkyrie (Maranya Valkonan).
Kakabel (Celestial Sorrow): The Prince of Stars has tried everything short of giving his son a sound beating to keep him from getting into trouble. Alas, to his dismay (no short on temper), Rei has disappointed him once again. By skipping school not once, but twice!, this past week. Aside from making him write his usual number of punishing essays, he has tried the conventional means of grounding the troublesome boy. Especially after learning about the particulars of a certain party the youth attended. What is a father to do with a smart-mouthed trouble-maker such as Rei? He has seriously considered military school. Where he will be away from ... everything. Most of his stress has thankfully been relieved by the time he has been spending with a certain shadow-thief. Rei had better be thankful that his mother can calm his father's rage!
Lyssa (Lyssa Bjornson): Ariana's shy dollmaking daughter continues to make dolls based on dreams she's been having for a still undetermined reason.
Mallora (Ma11ora): Mallora is still working around the temple and catching up on things she missed while she has been away raising her triplets for the past year.
Matakhat Cain (Matakhat Cain): Cat's been busy with her academic life. In between classes, she has taken to tutoring Topher Feldman, who she thinks is a nice shy boy who can get better grades if he puts his mind to it. Outside of college, she's been either working or frequenting the Rambling Rose Tavern chatting with friends new and old. An old one, her first boyfriend Sandy, recently paid a visit to the Rose to see her. Cat was thrilled and they were seen happily catching up on each other's lives. Other than that, Halloween is coming and she's still trying to decide what to dress up as. She's excited about it herself and is encouraging others to get into the Halloween spirit.
Melly (Melanie Wyndham): Will the shy relief baker at Ariana's Divine Delights Bakery ever tend bar at the Silver Moon Inn again? The world may never know.
Mer Harriss (Heavy Metal Mer): Rumor has it that Captain Harriss had something to do with helping relieve Gem of a demon presence. More on this can be found in the update for Gemethyst.

Mithril/Gadreel/Lusus (ASaintOfSinners): What a busy, busy week for the workaholic. Rumor has it that he plans to evolve himself into a pagan deity just like Azazel managed to a long time ago. Will he succeed? Has he already and is just not telling? Is this all a red herring to throw at his enemies? Who knows.
What is known is that he is under attack from several different forces. The one that concerns him the most is Ahriman who saw fit to raise his old devil lieutenant from the dead and send him after Terry. Terry lost four years of memories thanks to that attack. After receiving a mysterious kaleidoscope from an unknown ally, he got an idea of what to do. Thanks to Makatiel and Zohak's help, he was able to rid Terry of the waters of Lethe and undo the effects.
If that was not enough, his friend Jim was attacked by Belphegor who was pretending to be a woman grieving the death of her brother. She accused Jim of being a monster known as Zetarris and stirred a man named Zonker up and sent him against Jim. Mithril was given a telepathic S.O.S and showed up later to help take care of things. Shortly after this his nephew Alex came in filled with a sense of righteous indignation against Mithril's existence. He blamed Mithril for hurting his mother. Mithril was outwardly as calm and as aloof as ever, but inwardly he felt bad about Jade. So he wrote her as per Alex's suggestion. He sealed that letter so that none may read it but she, and sent it on its way via earth elemental.
He also has word that Caife has been stolen and is planning a rescue.
Now he has withdrawn temporarily from the public eye. Can we blame him?
Pleione (Stellar Balinese): Tutoring a drow and a starchild in the ways of schooling is not the easiest task in the world ... for a feline. But somebody has to do it!
Rei (AmethystStarfall): The randy teenager has not been out much at all thanks to being grounded. As it turns out this one is into guys as well as girls. That's right, everyone's favorite womanizer is bisexual. So lock up your sons as well as your daughters, but rumor has it that he has his current eye on Mica.
Rick "The Red Baron" Toehfen (Rick Toehfen): "The Baron" has been enjoying a very successful fall foliage tour business at the Blackjack Adventures woodland office. When he's not busy leading bicycle tours through the forests around Rhydin, he is throwing himself and his bike off of progressively bigger cliffs. He has also been advising Chasz and helping him deal with "a few issues".
Salvador (Peculiar Silence): When is his father going to learn that simply grounding him is not going to work? Sal has acquired a taste for body art, particularly in the form of piercings. One stud in his left ear would have been acceptable, but two!? As well as one in his right ear and a bar in his left eyebrow! Chances are he is planning on getting more, but how to hide him from his father and keep them from growing in when he's forced to not wear them? Secretly he has also been considering getting a tattoo! Oh man ... his father is going to kill him for sure!
As for being grounded, well ... that was because he happened to skip school a couple of times this past week. This could all be blamed on Rei for bringing up the idea, but Sal isn't so much of a follower that he couldn't have disagreed. Spending time with his friends seemed more important at the time than schooling. Especially time spent with a certain young mage at a party the group had. Terrance Tomar-Duncan (Terrance Tomar): Though it would be nice to forget this week ever happened, Terry does not want to ever forget anything again. Especially huge chunks of time, like the last four years that were wiped out when he was ambushed by someone working for Ahriman (TheAngraMainyu) a few nights ago and disgustingly forced to drink water from Lethe, the river that cleanses memories from deceased spirits. It was very disturbing to suddenly be surrounded by strangers that knew him, and find that he is actually engaged. Luckily he had strange but helpful relatives that were able to recover his memory for him. Professor TD's students might want to behave this week; he may not be showing it, but he is enraged and cannot wait to take a shot at Mr. Angry. The Menagerie (GrandMenagerie): The dogs are recovering slowly from the coy assault. Beauty's loss is deeply felt by the pack and they show it. Poor buff, the tiny poodle wouldn't eat for 3 days after her passing. Pye, the blue-eyed cat is dealing with it in typical feline fashion...pretending nothing happened but he keeps finding himself looking for something he can't find. Casey keeps looking for her 3 lost pups also, her two remaing sons have nightmares often. In the world of good news Elaine's cat had her kittens...their parentage is not in question. Tab, the black and white barn cat, is incredibly interested in the kittens but doesn't dare approach their mother. Also, the Houndess and the Sheepdog that helped defend the homestead during the recent assault are still hanging about. They have fit in well with the dogs but tension runs high amongst the bitches. Will they stay? Will they be allowed to stay?
The Rev (Rev DiabIo): Rev made an appearance Friday night at the Red Dragon while Collie was tending, you think he'd show up at any other time? Cadence gave him a monkey who Rev named Spanky D. Monkey. Later that night, Rev set something right with Mithril but he's not talking to anyone else about what was said.
Valleana (Va11eana): Vallean is still absent.
Yeehaw Kikass (YeeHaw M Kikass): The ornery werewolf appears to be trying to death-by-monster-suicide...conversely he's never been more polite. Apparently while delusional he thought Lenika told him he was crazy. He couldn't agree more...but she never said it. For some reason he seems deadset on proving her wrong even though he agrees. Hence his rash of politeness. Latest Update: Yee may have something to do with the supposed death of Johnny Hellshot. Is Johnny dead? No one's seen the 'Flamer'. Yee sure seemed to know a lot of details and claimed Johnny tried to burn him. And then claims Johnny is dead...and that he didn't do it. As one listener mentioned, "Methink thou doth protest too much." Yee. What did happen?
Yoshi (KitsuneNineTails): He made a brief pit stop in the Silver Moon Inn to take some measurements and ran into one of Terry's relatives who was hungry for news. After paying the kitsune a fortune in platinum, he took the man away and gave him some juicy gossip.

Monday, October 11th: Yesterday was Columbus Day (Observed)! And silly me, I forgot to mention it. A lot of our younger players had the day off. I don't regret not being online then. Hah! It was also Thanksgiving Day in Canada. Hopefully it was a holiday to remember.
Friday, October 15th: Ramadan! As mentioned in the Multiverse Minutes, this day marks the first day of the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. "This month is marked by fasting and prayer. Most Muslims, with certain exceptions, do not smoke, eat or drink from sunup to sundown during the entire month. If we have any Islamic readers, we wish you a good and successful Ramadan."
No Date Set: Throughout the week, players should take note of a number of funerals that will more than likely be "vaporgamed." This meaning that they are events that transpire behind the scenes. Unless specific people suggest otherwise by using the link provided above in the Advertisements section to e-mail notify me of such a request.
