This Just In

Ahriman (TheAngraMaiynu): Still plotting and still scheming. Some things never change.

Anna (AriannaRavenwood): During the time of her sister Ariana's illness, Anna reluctantly took over her sister's tending duties. Anna also suffered a dagger wound to her left forearm while trying to subdue Ariana during one of her mental breakdowns. The still blue of the twin sisters is currently looking after her two year old son, Brion and her husband Galen (Galen Ravenwood) and on occasion, still reluctantly filling in as a tender at the Silver Moon Inn.

Ariana (ArianaMacGyldren): The last two months have been especially busy for the innfamous baker-mother-artist-tender-goddess, hence the length of this update.

The goddess is in serious trouble with one of the gods in her Pantheon, Reynard, the God of Dreams. It seems that Ariana asked Reynard's daughter, Sasha, the Goddess of Time, to give Ariana more hours in the day to perform her former backbreaking schedule of tending and cooking at the SMI, run her bakery, look after her family and help her husband Galen (Galen MacGyldren) rebuild his clan lands. Reynard, furious at his daughter's weakened condition, may or may not be indirectly responsible for the events leading up to the illness Ariana suffered.

Due to an enchantment put on a lock of Ariana's hair, which she gave to a mysterious patron at the Red Dragon Inn while tending there four years ago, the goddess suffered a disastrous split of her mind, body and soul. The good Rev (Rev Diabio) was able to restore Ariana's soul after a battle with Old Scratch himself.

During the time of Ariana's illness, she had what appeared to be a nervous breakdown and attacked some members of her family with a dagger, including her brother Don (Donatello Harada), her grandson Thorm (GuthormOthinsson) and her twin sister Anna (AriannaRavenwood). As a result of her keeping her illness a secret, Ariana was also relieved of her tending duties by the mysterious Management of the Silver Moon Inn.

The source of the enchantment was found and thanks to the successful efforts of Kulkem (Kulkem), Ariana's body was restored. However, during the dispelling of the magick used, the goddess did, to all intents and purposes, die for a short time. Thankfully for her sake, it was not long enough to also cause the death of her true love and husband, Galen who shares a bond with her.

Currently, Ariana's busy once again running her bakery, taking care of her family and helping her husband Galen rebuild his clan lands. When she recently tried to resume her tending duties at the SMI, without checking first with Management, Management once again stepped in and told Ariana, "You're fired. When you get well again I will decide whether to hire you back or not."

Ariana also celebrated her 2506th birthday recently. And she still doesn't look a day older than 25.

Carmine (TaciturnMerc): Carmine has gone with Dris (BardGaiiant) to act as his "bodyguard" on his trip.

Cassiel (InvertedDarkness): There has been no word on the soft-spoken angel since he last made his brief appearance to give Jade the prophecies.

Deputy Marshall Wynter (Rachael Wynter): The Deputy has been investigating the murder spree around the vicinity of the SMI. During an interrogation of the chief suspect of the murders, Rachael used a tazer to subdue Don (Donatello Harada) and caused him life threatening injuries as a result. She has since engaged the services of her lawyer, Lucien Mallorek (LucienMal) to defend her in the upcoming trial. Rachael has been the recipient of around thirty pieces of hate mail, delivered to her by the Postman (Rings Twice) at the Silver Moon Inn recently as a result of the interrogation incident. She also received a few letters from government officials who appreciate someone "cleaning up the scum from the city".

Elaine (Elaine Aqua): Ariana's nine year old daughter has been unusually good and quiet since her Unca Don (Donatello Harada) became ill and went into the hospital. Her reasoning is that if she's extra good, he'll get better faster. She's currently one of the youngest students at Northedge Academy. Elaine recently suffered a serious, nearly life-threatening in fact, case of the mumps, but you'd never know it from her usual energetic nature.

Ehzoterik VonArcanum Tempestas (Ehzoterik): Currently, our favorite professional psychopath is on "vacation" following a convention of some sort. It's rumored to be a traveling seminar on Multiverse Interdimensional Travel and Transportation. (M.I.T.T). Ehz is sending packages and postcards to people, "souveniers" from her travels and exploits. Watch for The Postman (Rings Twice) to make the deliveries.

Foxpride Xavier Langston Pepper (Rings Twice): Watch out for this Postman and his packages. You never know what might be delivered. He seems to carry a grudge against his more famous brothers (a doctor and a military officer) as well as his father, a Sultan.

Gadreel (TheGrayDeceiver): At present, he is biding his time and getting ready for a fight that he senses is to come with facing his other selves. Making Jade's life as miserable as he possibly can is also in the works. Good thing she has her share of allies.

Gemethyst (Gemethyst): Gem is recovering from her ordeal with Gadreel and his demonic pastry. She was weak and in bed for two days after. Now she is on her feet and making short visits. She and Mesteno (Bronze Mesteno) did go to see Terrel to try to renegotiate her price for information on just where in Hell the Morganti dagger is hidden. Her price was...very high and very difficult to meet. Mesteno managed to make her think of something different. Now the price is thieving a certain belt from a Frost Giant Fortress. At some point, Gem and Mesteno, and whoever else wants to come along are going to try to retrieve that. For the journey into Hell to get the dagger back, Vadriel is going to lead that expedition.

Kymeera: The Nightmare Keeper (The Dream Warden): Kymeera would also be attending this "hearing" on Mithril's fate to have his say.

Lusus (HeartRottedAngel): After that one brief appearance, he has been laying low. Perhaps he has been taken back by his keeper, or perhaps he is still out ready to wreak as much havoc as he possibly can. Only time shall tell.

Mallora (Ma11ora): Mallora and her daughter Valleana (Va11eana) are still away in Valtash. Mallora's there in preparation to give birth to her triplets and Valleana, as High Priestess, is of course present to help her mother at this critical time.

Doctor Maranya Tatiana Valkonan (Maranya Valkonan): The good Doctor has been rather busy lately, between her new employment with the mysterious Mrs. VanHasselt (details of which it's safest not to speculate on) and treating her various patients, including Elaine (Elaine Aqua), Gem (Gemethyst) and Sabrielle (Sabrielle Marrick). Her most serious case is Don (Donatello Harada). Maranya recently performed a rather complicated operation on Don, the details of which are of course unavailable due to doctor-patient confidences. The good Doctor recently "celebrated" her one year anniversary of the accident which changed her life forever.

Matriel (Rarefied Rain): So far the angel that likes to run about in the guise of a little old lady has not been seen. It is said that she is spending a great deal of time in the South. The natives there do wish she would move on as there are now flood warnings posted.

Mithril (ASaintOfSinners): He finally returned to stay at Jade's place and has met up with a new guest that she has staying there. This mysterious gunman has offered him some valuable advice on learning how to accept certain feelings that he has been quite uncomfortable facing. However, it still remains to be seen if he will tell Jade just what he feels for her before he is consumed by Gadreel. As of now he will help Jade in the translation of the prophecies along with assistance from Drake and Rose.

Ophelia (EspressoBlues): She and Ra have taken a much needed vacation away from the coffee shop and are now out on a road trip to see various tourist trap things. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Earth is one place to definitely go see.

Rei (AmethystStarfall): One can only hope that he is not giving his mother any trouble. He is still quite alive, and if the baby has suffered any adverse reactions to Gadreel's tart, so far those are unknown.

The Rev (Rev DiabIo): The good Rev is off and away, there is no real news on him, just rumors of what he might have done. Rumor has it he's been seen officiating at lime Jell-O™ wrestling matches. Other rumors abound that the good Rev has started a new career as a "male exotic dancer" at the Fuschia Flamingo Lounge. Still others claim he's gone into seclusion at a local monastery, baking bread and chanting.

Robin (Robin Kalahola): Robin has won the Rhydin Shores Invitational Surf Tournament

Sheridan Driscol (BardGaIIant, SMI Dris): Dris is on a business trip to work on his latest commission for a rich noble. It's rumored that the instrument in question is either a grand piano much like the Grand Dragon which resides proudly in the Silver Moon Inn, or a pipe organ, but the instrument definitely will be something of the string and key variety.

She Who Tends the Dead (Faye Random): Since Faye is an Autumnal fae, her powers are strongest in this season. Therefore, to not tamper too much with the flow of Nature in this locale, she has purposely removed herself from the Prime Material plane of existence. It's entirely possible Faye was also called away to Court for a month long hearing on what is to become of Mithril (ASaintOfSinners). To say the least, our favorite fae is annoyed and bored to no end of reason.

Suriel (Thirteenthchange): The angel of Death has been kept quite busy since his promotion to Archangel status. Rumor has it that he has a part to play in the upcoming prophecies.

Troy (Troy Embry): Troy has had all his outstanding warrants cleared up thanks to the efforts of one Deputy Marshal Wynter (Rachael Wynter).

Welkin: The Watcher of the Border (PolutedFirmament, TheFaeKeeper): Welkin, on the other hand, has gone missing yet again. Once again he has been corrupted by the Darkness.

Yoshi (KitsuneNineTails): Still working as a cook in Jade's place. He has been seen helping strengthen the wards to protect the place against unwanted demons and other subversive spirits. It always pays to make friends with the lady that gives you a place to stay.

In Other News...

The body count in the latest murder spree around the vicinity of the Silver Moon Inn is now ten women. The victims so far have been tall, slender, dark haired women. Don (Donatello Harada), despite his heart condition, is accused of committing the crimes, as at least two of the victims match his modus operandi. It's rumored that one of Don's weapons was found at the scene of one of the murder victims. It's also rumored that the arresting officer, one Deputy Marshall Wynter (Rachael Wynter), has acted with malice and bias in this case.
