Ubique's Weekly A Mutual Endeavors Publication Issue #5 ~ 14 September 2003 The Blurb Well, here's my edition of the Ubique's Weekly again. I hope you enjoy it. I apologize for the lateness of this issue, but I was waiting on submissions as long as I could.
This Just In I decided this week to once again put all the character blurbs in alphabetical order by character name. If you don't see anything on a particular character, either I didn't receive anything on them this week, or nothing of note happened with them this past week. So...on with the blurbs! Ariana (ArianaMacGyldren): The most recent events in the innfamous baker-mother-artist-tender-goddess' life happened when she tried to protect her cousin Terrance (Terrance Tomar) from an unknown assailant and subsequently suffered a mental attack from the assailant which rendered her ineffective during the battle. Ariana also stumbled onto a hole near the SMI which was left behind from a mysterious monster that's been eating horses, dogs, various homeless persons and Twelve's (The Multifarious) leg. The goddess is still in serious trouble with Reynard, the God of Dreams. Currently, Ariana's still running her bakery, taking care of her family and helping her husband Galen rebuild his clan lands. Deputy Marshall Wynter (Rachael Wynter): The Deputy is still investigating the murder spree around the vicinity of the Silver Moon Inn and is also working with the other investigative team on the other series of similarly profiled murders in a nearby jurisdiction. Ehzoterik VonArcanum Tempestas (Ehzoterik): Ehz is still sending packages and postcards to people, "souveniers" from her travels and exploits. The deliveries are still being made by The Postman (Rings Twice). Foxpride Xavier Langston Pepper (Rings Twice): Fox is delivering mail like crazy, filling in for Cliff Claven who is off so he can participate in Jeopardy. Gemethyst (Gemethyst): Gem talked with Calypso, a servant of Cassiel's (InvertedDarkness) and asked Calypso a question, for a price, to help Cassiel. Lusus (HeartRottedAngel): Lusus made a brief appearance recently at the Silver Moon Inn this week. Lyssa (Lyssa Innes): Ariana's quiet, doll-making daughter and her husband Odin (Odin of Rhydin) added a new limb to the Bramble Bush with Emara Ingrid on August 12th. Their other child, Sven Thorin, will be three this coming December 24th. Doctor Maranya Tatiana Valkonan (Maranya Valkonan): The good Doctor is still busy between her new employment with the mysterious Mrs. VanHasselt and treating her various patients. She's going to celebrate her twenty-sixth birthday on the 18th this month. Mithril (ASaintOfSinners): Mithril actually got a hold of the Morganti Dagger that is needed to kill the summoner that is harassing Cassiel. He has not decided who to give it to yet. The Rev (Rev DiabIo): The good Rev is currently working with Doña Magda (Magdalena) about his chronic nightmares. He recently broke Mesteno's (Bronze Mesteno) jaw by accident when Mesteno snuck up on the good Rev from behind (always a bad thing to do). Robin (Robin Kalahola): Robin is opening up a surfing school after his success at the Rhydin Shores Invitational Surf Tournament. In Other News...There are still reports of gruesome murders where the remains of the victims are left in buckets. It's noted now that the victims are being skinned and dressed as game animals would be. The latest victim was Salvatore Cappobianco and his five bodyguards. Cappobianco was found "ready for the table" and his bodyguards' remains were found in a fifty gallon drum beside the meticulously carved body of their boss. In a nearby jurisdiction to the Silver Moon Inn, there is another serial killer on the loose, with nearly the exact same modus operandi as the perpetrator of the SMI murder spree. In fact, the reports between both sets of cases are identical, down to the suspected weapon and wound pattern. The chief difference, however, is victim profile, which seems to consist of suspected violent criminals in the second murder spree. There is a mysterious monster which has been consuming various animals and homeless persons from underground. Its most recent feeding grounds have been the vicinity of the Silver Moon Inn. AnnouncementsCongratulations to Mallora's player! She gave birth to Mallora Alexandra on Thursday, September 11th, 2003 at 6:21 PM.
