Ubique's Weekly A Mutual Endeavors Publication Issue #6 ~ 21 September 2003 The Blurb Well, here's my edition of the Ubique's Weekly again. I hope you enjoy it. I apologize for the lateness and the shortness of this issue, but I was waiting on submissions as long as I could.
This Just In I decided this week to once again put all the character blurbs in alphabetical order by character name. If you don't see anything on a particular character, either I didn't receive anything on them this week, or nothing of note happened with them this past week. So...on with the blurbs! Ariana (ArianaMacGyldren): The innfamous baker-mother-artist-tender-goddess has been defending the Silver Moon Inn against the invasion of ants recently. She's discovered two weapons in the fight, alcohol (the stronger the better) and flour. The goddess is still in serious trouble with Reynard, the God of Dreams. Currently, Ariana's still running her bakery, taking care of her family and helping her husband Galen rebuild his clan lands. Hmte (Invasion of Hmte): The mysterious monster that's been consuming various animals and homeless persons from underground has finally been revealed as ants. But not ordinary ants at all. These over two foot long ants invaded the Silver Moon Inn itself at least twice this past week and so far have been chased away by the combined efforts of the patrons. Doctor Maranya Tatiana Valkonan (Maranya Valkonan): The good Doctor is still busy between her new employment with the mysterious Mrs. VanHasselt and treating her various patients. Mesteno (Bronze Mesteno): After having spent a week severely depressed due to problems with his husband Sally, Mesteno finally set his pride aside long enough to apologize and the marriage is running smoothly again. He also met up with Mithril and Gem to discuss the Morganti Dagger before delivering it to Vadriel for safe keeping while plans are being formed to help Cassiel. He has been informed that his part in the prophecy is to play "The Devil's Hornpipe" on his beloved violin on a trip to Hell. Since plans for the rescue seem to be taking a while to form however, he has opted to go ahead with a rather serious operation to replace his alcohol-poisoned liver in the meantime. Therefore it can be expected that he won't be making much of an appearance in the days to come. The Rev (Rev DiabIo): The good Rev went out to hunt the lair of the killer ants and hasn't been seen since. In Other News...There are still reports of gruesome murders where the remains of the victims are left in buckets. It's noted now that the victims are being skinned and dressed as game animals would be. In a nearby jurisdiction to the Silver Moon Inn, there is another serial killer on the loose, with nearly the exact same modus operandi as the perpetrator of the SMI murder spree. In fact, the reports between both sets of cases are identical, down to the suspected weapon and wound pattern. The chief difference, however, is victim profile, which seems to consist of suspected violent criminals in the second murder spree.
