Three weeks ago I received word from Mike -- that's our glorious webmaster, the guy who helped us put this site together, for those of you who don't know -- that the Bell Web Services server was going to be going through an upgrade. According to him, our site should have experienced no downtime, and I do hope that was the case. I didn't personally notice any complications myself, but I admit that I'm not online all day every day 365 days out of the year! I'm only human.
According to Mike, the new upgrade is supposed to greatly improve the performance of our site. Not being a tech-head myself, I can't see how, but I'll take his word for it. He contacted me last night to inform me that the upgrade was complete, and also said to inform him if I notice any complications or problems with its performance. Again, I'm only human and am not always on monitoring the status of Mutual Endeavors, so here's where you come in. Oh, my dear and faithful minions! Keep your eyes peeled. I don't expect us to experience any technical difficulties any time soon, but you never know. Our host at Bell Webs Services has done a spectacular job so far. I couldn't have done any better myself. No, not at all. My best talents lay in simple HTML encoding and nothing more, which I admit is a step up from the avergage Joe but hardly as impressive as the beauty you see before your eyes every time you sign on to our site. This brings me to a reminder! May is just around the corner. It's sneaking up on us in two days time! That means a couple of things. Of course, all of you should know by now that the latest issue of Ubique's Monthly is scheduled for release then. Look forward to that, folks. I predict there to be exceptional laughs in our next issue. Take my word for it, but please do be sure to read as well. Come June we'll be needing to renew our domain name! Can you believe it? Time sure flies when success slaps you upside the head. This shouldn't be anything to worry about at all, but I do hope that all of you know well by now how shoddy my memory is. Please do not let me forget to renew our domain name! Without it, we'll have no Mutual Endeavors! Then there's July. My but do we plan for a busy summer. July is when we'll be needing to renew our contract with Bell Web Services. That shouldn't be as difficult for me to remember, as Mike has told me I'll be receiving a notice. Hopefully everything works out well and I can afford it again. Keep your fingers crossed for the sake of our community.
