Mutual Endeavors Terms of Use are as follows:
Please read these. I know it's easier to just scroll through and ignore but this stuff is really important and if you read it, it will make sunbeams shoot out of our noses and roses bloom. In our hearts. And it'll help avoid problems later on, too.
I. Mutual Endeavors and Ubique’s Monthly does not claim ownership of submitted storylines, character stories posted upon the Fireboards, or character information given freely to staff for use in articles and/or the newsletter. However, with respect to the content members offer, by doing so you hereby grant Mutual Endeavors and the Ink Wire Associates permission to print such information online for public reading and/or storyline use (where and with persons specified); be it on the boards or within the newsletter, and to store it upon the web site for archival purposes.
II. By registering to Mutual Endeavors, submitting information to Ubique’s Monthly, and posting to our Fireboard forums, you represent yourself as, and we expect that you are a mature individual with passing knowledge on how to conduct yourself in a manner becoming of a role-player. That you will conduct yourself in a manner appropriate for being a human being. If you are a troll, we will eat you and you shall be delicious, nom oum nom.

Fireboard Forum FAQ section on our website. It is solely your responsibility to read these frequently asked questions and befully aware of the policies contained within them. Not all of our policies are restricted solely to this T.O.U.
III. By becoming part of Mutual Endeavors, you understand that M.E. cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed to material you may find graphic, offensive, mature and/or "adult" in nature, as what one individual finds acceptable, another will not. This includes any In Character posts or Out of Character Posts found on the forums.
a. Some sections of our forums may be less appropriate for younger audiences than others. In particular, we recommend you familiarize yourself with our policies concerning the concept that we possibly encourage role-players to flame other role-players. We have our reasons for allowing this behavior, and that particular FAQ explains why in explicit detail. Be advised before you participate.
IV. Mutual Endeavors shall never unwittingly nor on purpose release private player or mundane information to outside sources that is not freely volunteered by you, the player. Your email address and screen names will never be sold, given away, traded or exchanged to outside sources by M.E. staff members.
a. Be aware that should you publicly display your screen name and/or e-mail address and are contacted by a third party outside of M.E for purposes of advertisement/spam it is not the responsibility of M.E. to take any action. You choose to make your details public.
- This information is not strictly limited to that which is posted on Mutual Endeavors. Any public information that can be found anywhere on the world wide web is free reign. If this public information was taken from elsewhere and a link can be provided to prove as much, it is not the responsibility of M.E. to take any action. Please see this FAQ for more information concerning this policy.
b. Should you be sent a private message using M.E's Joomla's platform (Private Message) which is unsolicited advertising/spam then it is your responsibility to contact a member of M.E.'s staff immediately so that we may handle it in a timely fashion. We do and will consider spam coming from the M.E. website in the form of private messages our responsibility and will do our best to blast it into space and into itty bitty teeny wheeny bits when brought to our attention.
c. Third party spam is considered advertising for websites that are not M.E. without permission from an administrator or moderator. So if you receive an advertisement for Viagra, Nigerian bank accounts, a Private Message filled with links to pr0n sites--it's spam.
V. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and registered account name within M.E. and fully responsible and accountable for any activities which occur under your password and account. You agree to notify M.E. to the best of your ability should a breach of security with your account happen at any time, and ensure that you log out of the web site completely at the end of your session. Mutual Endeavors cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damages arising from your failure to comply.
VI. By registering to this site, you acknowledge, understand and agree that M.E. is to be used as a resource for role-playing, only. M.E. and its web site shall not be used for purposes of blatant pornography, unsolicited spam, harassment, stalking, and inappropriate behavior. M.E is also not a dietary suppliment and does not taste like candy.
VII. You understand that the T.O.U. for Mutual Endeavors is subject to change at any time, be it editing for spelling, rewording or additions. It is the sole responsibility of M.E members to be familiar with and periodically check the T.O.U. And maybe random funny messages will be added just to see if you are really paying attention.
VIII. Images uploaded/attached/or posted within the Fireboards message board should not be blatant porn. There is a vast difference between artistic nudity and pornography, if in doubt, ask a moderator or administrator.
IX. Staff members of M.E. reserve all rights to making the final decision as to what they feel as inappropriate behavior or a bannable offense and will take proper actions to insure the safety and integrity of this site and its members. By registering to this web site and this forum, you are stating that you fully agree with this and understand completely.
Staff members can and will ban you, unsubscribe you, poke you with very sharp sticks, hang you upside down by your nose hairs and/or forbid you from using M.E. resources, as well as feed you to our rabid pack of lions and mock you openly should you commit any offenses deemed worthy of such actions. (::Inhales.::) Some examples are:
- Unsolicited e-mail advertising and/or spam sent to other members.
- The sharing and/or giving away of personal Out of Character information without express written permission and proof.
- Trolling, stalking, or otherwise harassing other members.
- Asshattery. See: Trolling, stalking, or otherwise harassing other members. Also: intentional in causing disruption on the web site and/or boards.
- Impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to, an Ink Wire Associate, Administrator, forum leader, screen name, character, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity
- Copy, reproduce, and duplicate any information found within this web site that is not expressly and irrevocably yours for purposes of selling, trading, reselling or exploitation for commercial purposes. You will respect the author(s) copyrights at all times.
X. The thoughts and opinions expressed by our members are not necessarily the thoughts and opinions of Mutual Endeavors as a whole. Every member of this site is an individual and as such is a singular person with a different mind than any other. We are not responsible for any thoughts or opinions that are expressed here or elsewhere on the world wide web by any of these members, especially in the event that any third party or other member may find such content or information to be offensive.
