Ubique's Monthly is intended to be written from a mostly out of character perspective.  In the past, our classifieds section has included both IC advertisements and OOC advertisements.  Over the years we have been trying to narrow down our selection to only those things that cannot be found elsewhere.

The Mutual Endeavors Links section of our site leads to many alternative websites that also promote the activity of free-form role-play.  Many of our recent advertisements have included copies of these links to help players find places in which to play.  The Affiliates section is a good place to look for these groups and organizations as well.  In the future, any advertisements sent to us featuring a role-playing group, guild or organization will be featured only once.  Anything new we receive will earn a slot in the Classifieds and also be added to our affiliates link section for as long as a site remains active.

We would like to limit the space taken up in the newsletter and not bog it down with repeat performances.  In the past we have also accepted IC advertisements promoting a job or service from one character offered to the others.  An example of this can be found in 97th Issue of Ubique's Weekly, titled under the heading of Navarra Farms.

In the future we plan on devoting much of our classifieds section to advertisements similar to this.  Though most of the newsletter is written from an out of character perspective, the Classifieds section is expected to be one of the few exceptions.  If any out of character advertisements are submitted, they will be listed in a separate and easy to read category as has been seen in many of our past issues of the now archived weekly versions of the newsletter.

So to answer the question: Anything your imagination can dream up may be advertised.  Anything you stumble across that you think might be interesting to share with your fellow role-players may be advertised.  Ubique's is here, there and everywhere, and you can be too.  Keep your eyes peeled for anything that fascinates you and inform us so that we can inform the rest of the world about it as well!
