So you noticed we have that Ubiquitous Realms category, and you see all those nifty little child boards attached to it.  And you're asking yourself: "How can I get myself one of them?"

It's real simple: ask!

Mutual Endeavors has no real set of requirements that need met in order to get yourself a board of your very own.  All we ask is that you solemnly swear to make use of it and not let it sit there forever collecting dust.

We have, in the past, removed boards that haven't been used.  It really isn't difficult for the administrative staff to add or remove boards to and from the forum.  But we do frown a whole heck of a lot on lack of participation.  So if you're only going to use a board for a limited time, or you are uncertain whether or not you will use it at all, please don't ask for one.

We're actually very accomodating people.  If you want a little slice of home to call your own here on Mutual Endeavors, we'd be very happy to give it to you.  All you need to do is request one, and when requesting one keep these things in mind.

1. Give us a name for your potential board.  Something short and sweet like a title to a really awesome book.  Try to keep it no longer than three words long, and try to keep those words small.  Less is more when it comes to titles and names.  Princess Buttercup's Rainbow Starshine Daydream Playground is not only ridiculous, but way too freaking long for us to want to clutter up our forum space with.  So think long and hard.  Think of what the overall meaning of your potential board is in three words or less.

2. Provide us with a description for your potential board.  We ask for a minimum of a one sentence blurb, and no more than three.  A complete setting description of your little slice of heaven is as much, if not more so, clutter than the example board name given above.  Think of your space like the back cover of a novel.  What's it say on the jacket that catches your attention in the first three lines that makes you want to buy it or loan it?  Be creative.  We know you can do.

3. Last but not least: provide us with the username(s) you want us to set up as moderators of your potential story board.  We allow free reign and control over your own playgrounds.  It's your imagination, not ours.  Only you, the storyteller, can really know what is acceptable and what is not.

All that said, it's not that difficult.  All you have to do is ask.  Chances are highly likely that we'll grant your wish, because we're just cool like that.
