October is here! Behold the first bit of front page news for your reading enjoyment. Our chief administrator and website design guru Mike has been a very busy bee! I think we should all poll together our resources and send him a big pretty present for the holidays this year. No amount of thanks for everything he does ever feels enough. His latest work of miracle art is the remodeling of our very own Mutual Endeavors flashchat, which by popular vote is leaning toward the not for RP purposes use.
The flashchat can be reached through the Mutual Chat link on the left hand side of the screen in your main menu of links. Only registered users can access the chat, however, and you'll have to be signed in to drop on by and chat it up with us. The colors have been better designed to fit the overall theme and layout of the site itself, and they match up beautifully I must say. Mike did a fabulous job! There's only one small problem that we hope to have hammered out very soon. It still seems as if we're having issues with people being seen in the chatroom. Sometimes people may be present but not showing. And sometimes people won't be present but will be showing! Other times people will be there, seen in the room, but none of their text is seen going to the screen by some. Oi vey! What a crazy glitch! Last I heard, I think Mike discovered a post on the support site and may be off to fix that bug. At the very least, he had some reading to do. In addition to his flashchat miracle work, Mike has been fiddling around with the potential future wiki. Right now only the IWA administrative staff can really look at it. Nothing we're prepared to release to the public any time soon. Especially not with all these other projects we have to work on. Such as the newsletter. Which, by the way, I should get to work on now! Oh! And he also fixed up the webring visual pretties for us. With Panther's good blessing, so as not to confuse Mutual Endeavors for another DM site, and Steff's beautiful work of catering the link to our tastes, there's a new banner at the bottom of every screen. But wait! There's more! Mike also fixed up the events calendar to better match our color schemes as well. Things just keep getting better and better. He's such a hard working guy! When does the insanity of his awesomeness end? Heh heh. But hey! Check out the new and improved flashchat. It's shinier and prettier and glossy silver sheened. And hopefully there won't be any mistaking who's in and who isn't in the very near future. Sit around and yack it up with your fellow RP friends and neighbors.
