The IWA team has been working an overhaul this past week or two in a desperate attempt to makes heads and tails of all the new features we've been adding to the site. As well as trying to figure out how to make best use of some of our older ones. Learning the Joomla! system and running an entire website is not as easy as it looks, but we're making progress. Keep an eye on our forum to watch us administrators chatter back and forth about the things we'd like to do to make Mutual Endeavors the best it can possibly be. Registered members are fully free to comment on anything we babble about over there as well. We fully encourage you to do so.
As most of you are aware, I've been talking about big changes concerning the nature of Ubique's Weekly in the future. Relative to this situation was our previously available anonymous contact form. I've only recently figured out how to fully fiddle with this feature of our site. Contact forms, that is. Now that I've got it all mostly figured out, I'm starting work on building the foundations of our future anonymous UW news contact form, which is what I had intended anonymous to be for to begin with. This new and revised contact form, however, should still allow for a great deal of anonymity. You are not required to provide us with a name or method in which to contact you in response to your concerns, but if you do want the IWA to get back in touch with you it is highly recommended. I've received a large number of anonymous contacts over the past few months in which e-mail addresses have been provided but the mail I send out has come back from the MAELER-DAEMON telling me it couldn't be sent out. So it is my hope that this new and revised contact form is more useful and more informative than it has been in the past. Our recommendation is to only use this contact form in dire emergencies. Assisting administrator elf_fu has started the framework FAQ on how to best get in touch with the Ink Wire Associates. Including a comprehensive list of personal contact information for each individual on our administrative team. Except, in fact, for youthculture, who has yet to fill out her information (hint, hint). Like all of our permanent fixtures and information, however, these FAQs may be reviewed and revised at any time, so keep sharp on your toes. That said, my project this coming month is to work on setting the foundations for the new and improved Ubique's Weekly version 2.0, to better suit the site and the needs of our members. Now that I know how to construct better contact forms, I hope to have an anonymous news-submitting one ready by the end of October. If not sooner. The ultimate goal is to start sending the newsletter out direct from the site by it's 101st issue. Stay tuned for more on this. The best is yet to come. Last update: 28-09-2007 06:35
