This week's top news advice is to direct everyone's attention to a few key areas of our website. First and foremost, you'll probably see that there's a new edition of Ubique's Weekly in circulation. Also tucked away neatly in our archives where I try to remember to put it every week. This week's newsletter covers a lot of ground, and we all know by now that I really don't like repeating myself. So please, do your part and read everything written there. Keep yourselves up-to-date on the goings-on all around us in RP land.
What I'd really like to talk about right now is the forum. Since the upgrade, a lot of changes have been going on. You'll note in the Staff Bulletins that I've done quite a bit of rearranging and cleaning up around there. There seem to be a few small glitches that need ironing out too. For instance, I've had some trouble seeing the bright red folder telling me that there are new posts since my last visit recently. This may just be because of the continued coding work that Mike and Mel are struggling through. Speaking of that, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank those two for the tremendous amount of hard work they've both put into making Mutual Endeavors the best it can be. I'd also like to thank all of our members, new and old, for the continued flurry of activity that has taken our forums by storm. You're all a bunch of very patient and polite individuals for putting up with our "new theme park" complications these past couple of months. I don't know what I'd do without your suggestions and offers to help when and where you can. You're all so beautiful and brilliant. I love you. Thank you so much! The new events calendar is a little difficult to explain, and again my thanks go out to Mel for trying her able best to do so. Personally, I'm not entirely certain I like it sitting there on the front page looking god awful mismatched to the rest of our layout, but it serves its purpose well. And as Mike says, to which I agree, functionality is the most important part. We can worry about the pretty later. Some of you may also be anxiously awaiting some news on the state of our IWA hiring process. Again, more thanks for being so brilliantly patient. We are still reviewing your applications at this time and hope to have reached some final decisions by the end of the month. We're in no hurry. I cannot offer enough thanks. To all of you. For all the dedication you show. All the support you give. For everything you've ever done to show to me that you too believe in the dream that is Mutual Endeavors. We wouldn't be here today without you. We won't be able to move onward into the future and improve ourselves without you. So thank you. Again. For sticking with us. also: Thank you VERY MUCH, Navarra for sending us this new plethora of links to add to our collection. You're a doll! Last update: 22-09-2007 07:59
