GRH to Stay PDF Print E-mail

At last count, 25 voters participated in our latest poll.  I've been checking back every day to see how the numbers have been adding up, and I must confess that for a time there I was worried it would even out as a tie!  But as of 4:00 this morning, I decided to put an end to the poll and base my decision on the current results...

Two options were racing neck and neck for a couple of days there, but at last count the results are as follows:

48% of our voters said it would be best to "Keep it on the old board, archive only."

40% said that it "Should be moved to the new board."

8% said the GRH "Was a waste of time to begin with."

4% said to "Blast it into delete-fury oblivion!"

And absolutely nobody was of the opinion that it "Can still be rescued from stagnation."

Based on these statistics, it seems the majority is of the opinion that it's best to keep The Great Redcap Hunt on the old proboard as a read-only archive.  More than half voted this way.  There were two options for each of two decisions.  One was to move it over and one was to leave it there.  Simple as that.

My thanks go out to everyone who took the time to vote, even those of you I had to ask directly.  Your opinions do matter in the maintenance of this site. And it is based on those opinions that I have made my executive decision.

The Great Redcap Hunt will be staying on the old proboard as a read onlly archive.  It will not be blasted into delete-fury oblivion, though.  As things turned out, people just got too busy to keep up with the storyline.  While the actual story-writing was never finished, the story itself did come to certain conclusions.  Everyone who participated should be well aware of what happened and be able to play their characters accordingly.  That time is now long past.  It's over and done with.  Time to move on.

In related news: Anything that is not transferred over from the old board to the new board will also remain.  There was some misunderstanding regarding my executive decision on that matter on the fireboard.  No, I will not be blasting your stories/threads into delete-fury oblivion.  Anything that is not copied will remain.  Anything you want kept on the old proboard will stay there.  All you have to do is tell me not to delete something, and I won't.  But please...

If you've copied something over and don't want it deleted from the proboard, TELL ME.  I'm not a mind-reader.  To me, having the same stories on two forums at once is a bit of overkill.  A bit of senseless clutter.  But other people have other opinions, and that's fine.  If you want them in both places just let me know and they'll remain as they are.

As for my own junk... Well.  You should be able to see by now that I've gone into a delete frenzy.

Once again, thank you all for your participation in the poll.

Time to put up a new one!

1. Well...
I was going to go with the voting option of "rescuing from stagnation", but I thought that option was implied in moving GRH to this board.
