As some of you may have noticed, the Nefarious SM hasn't been online as frequently as she usually is within the past week.  Taking this brief time to inform everyone that this is because of a surprising increase in real life socialization.  The husband is on vacation, and has been for a while now.  A total of 16 days!  Surprisingly enough, we've increased the number of real life friends in our collection as well.  Making with the entertainment and having over of guests has kept us very busy...

During the times in which I have been able to get online, I spend most of my time checking the Mutual Endeavors site, just to see what kind of activity has been happening and not.  I'm pleased to see that things are still moving along smoothly, and that newer members are joining the site.  It's good to see new names, fresh faces as it were.

Tonight I remembered to send out a reminder notice for Ubique's Weekly.  I will be writing it this week, don't you worry.  I also poked around at the general look and layout of the site.  A couple of things have changed.

A couple of days ago, I put up a new poll.  In our last news post, Mike left a response to inform me that it was possible to remove the unique email setting in the global controls.  After so many weeks of not having that option, I decided to put it to a vote.  Please take the time to cast your votes so that I can make a decision as to whether or not to keep the settings as they currently stand, or to change them.  It's a simple yes or no, but I decided to make it a little more fun. There are really three "change it" options and one "keep it option."  I'm sure you can figure that out.

Additionally: I took out the gallery link that was once at the top of the page.  Until I figure out what to do with the gallery, and how to set it up pleasantly (so that there aren't any more website examples), I'm just going to leave it down.  Everybody has personal gallery/photo albums in their profiles.  Since the new forums are our priority this month, I just don't see much point in having that example gallery up.  One step at a time.

The only other thing you'll see is an addition of new FAQs compiled by Mel, and the fact that I changed the side bar link to the old forums from saying "archive forums" to "dead forum".  Really.  It's going to be a dead forum.

I know.  I'm rambling a bit.  I just wanted to inform everyone of the fact that chief administration tasks are going to be less frequent for the next week or so.  Just don't have a lot of time to be online with all this real life business getting in my way.  All in due time...

1. I voted for Pedro
I voted for keeping the unique.

I wish the internet has not made me so jaded as to distrust people, but it has. Keeping it a unique email will, at least, keep the lazier trouble makers still lazy.

It's not that I wouldn't mind having all my names registered to one email, either. But I'd rather have it harder for someone to break into them too, should they ever hack into an email account. Sooooo. There ya go.

Of course, whatever the majority decides, decides!
