First, make sure you are logged into your Moderator account.

Take a trundle down to the Fireboards and take a gander at a written post while you are logged in. You should see several options that a normal member would not amidst the buttons at the bottom of a post, such as: 

  - Deletes the topic and (probably) all replies. 

- Move a topic and it's replies to a different forum. 

- Edit a topic and/or reply

- Sticky a topic, making sure it remains at the top of a forum above all other posts and topics. 

-Unstick a previously sticky post. (Sticky posts stay at the top of a forum above all other topics posted.)

  - Lock a topic, preventing members from replying or moving. Generally good only for severely messed up posts that have gone so way out of it that there's no recovery, or when one needs an admin to bring down the fires of hades.
