Ubique's Weekly is a newsletter that was first put into circulation on August 17, 2003, about the same time that Mutual Endeavors was formed. ME was formed during the great fallout of the RDI on AOL, and many of us didn't want to follow the mass exodus to other so-called greener pastures. So we thought long and hard on how to keep everybody in touch with one another. One idea that came to mind was a newsletter, and lo! Ubique's Weekly was born! Over time, participation levels and shared information grew to phenomenal proportions. SM couldn't handle the workload all on her own anymore. About two years ago, that's when the Ink Wire Associates were formed to help her out. There ended up being a largescale war concerning the handling of shared information and how the newsletter was compiled, and at one point a few years back SM gave up writing it entirely. Two years later, one of her role-playing friends convinced her to bring the newsletter back. Ubique's Weekly certainly isn't what it used to be, as you'll see in the archives (once they're complete). With the creation, finally, of this new website the newsletter may not ever again be what it used to be. But the general purpose of Ubique's Weekly will forever remain the same. In accordance with the beliefs of the founders of Mutual Endeavors, Ubique's Weekly is compiled by players and printed for players to share storyline and other relative character information to keep the dream of freeform cooperative role-play alive and well.
