Based on the executive decision to close down the old proboard forums by the end of the month, I have taken the liberty to switch around two of the links most members have become accustomed to since the beginning stages of this site. To put it fairly simply, the link to the new FireBoard forums can now be found at the top of the main page under the "Forums" button...
More on this: The decision was made to turn the old proboard into a complete read-only archive by the end of the month. I'm wanting to encourage all Mutual Endeavors members to register here on the fully integrated site in the future so that there are less links and less need to sign into different names all over the world wide web. My rambling basically amounts to this: Forums at the top of the main page here will now link directly to our new FireBoard and bring it up on the site here. Easier navigation in my opinion. Keeps everything neat and tidy and right next to the other top hotlinks of our site. Such as the old LiveJournal, which really hasn't been used in a long time. It may come to pass that we can get rid of it too, but it's just so pretty. I don't want to ignore the awesome that Mel helped us create. Archive Forum is the new link in the sidebar menu that is replacing the old Test Forum link. That button will now open up a second window hyperlink to the old ProBoard. As previously mentioned, by the end of the month of August, I will be locking down the proboard entirely so that it will only be accessible for viewing. Some of the boards will still require members to sign in. There's a lot of good humor over there, particularly in the Bitch Fest and General Discussion boards, that I don't want entirely lost. Not to mention, there are also some good stories that were finished over there that some people might not want to move to the new board. That's fine. Our top priority should be the stories that were left unfinished. At least the once that have a chance of being finished. So as you can see, we're doing a lot of work on forums this month. We hope to have everything finished by September. And then? THEN we'll work on that gallery option... Last update: 01-08-2007 01:21
