IWA is an acronym that stands for Ink Wire Associates. Some time ago, when Mutual Endeavors (frequently abbreviated to ME) was in its early stages of development, and when SM started writing the newsletter known as Ubique's Weekly (or UW for short), she realized that the job was becoming too much to handle on her own. So, she recruited some help from her fellow collaborators and role-playing friends to form the Ink Wire Associates. It is a well known fact that SM (aka: Ehzoterik) likes to play with words. Ink Wire is a play on the word "inquire," for the IWA consists of a select few individuals who possess the knowledge and know-how to successfully run and operate a large-scale organization such as Mutual Endeavors. The Ink Wire Associates are the people you turn to whenever you have questions or complications. They're the problem-solvers and trouble-shooters. The overall staff members who help SM run Mutual Endeavors and keep her from tearing her own hair out when she gets frustrated. The Ink Wire Associates are not the Nefarious SM's personal elite bodyguard of awesome support her in everything tools. They too are individuals, possessed of the same inclination for personal opinions and unique differentiation as just about every other human being on the face of the planet. Each IWA staff member has his or her own unique way of doing things, style of writing, and thoughts concerning role-play and how issues should be handled. The IWA is, then, a committee. A group of official representatives chosen by the people (our members), for the people to help administrate and maintain a pleasant website environment for the cause. No absolute and official decision is ever made without it first being discussed amongst these peers. And only by popular vote is a final decision ever made.
