Ubique's Weekly
A Mutual Endeavors Publication
Issue #70 ~ 8 February 2005
The Blurb Once upon a time, I had a dream...
"I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident that all men are created equal." Everyone should be familiar with the words of Martin Luther King Jr. At least as an American, I should hope everyone is. My purpose for quoting those words has nothing to do with existing persecution, but instead as an effort to extend my dwindling hope to those who are still willing to read my words as they are written.
While I have a lot of news to share this week, mostly due to missing compiling last week's issue, I feel this week that I need to set aside the news to discuss other matters. Within the past month I have finally come to the realization that nothing is working according to plan. Ubique's Weekly has me disheartened lately. I am under the assumption that no one actually reads this newsletter. So even now I feel that no matter what I write, it will only be glanced upon by the blind. Due to the increasing lack of collaboration these days, I believe I am not mistaken in this assumption. Lately I have felt as if there is no point anymore for me to write this newsletter weekly, if at all.
I am reminded of the mission statement I wrote concerning Ubique's Weekly. In the past, when I read it, I was encouraged by my own words. But these past few weeks I have only been reminded of how much of a hopeful fool I truly am. It has come to my attention that the dream of cooperative free-form roleplaying is simply that. It is a dream. One that is steadily dying. There is no collaboration going on anymore. There are simply players, alone or in pairs. An equal number of both that I have seen. I myself am a solitary player who has lost all connection to the pairs she was once a part of, and at one time I had multiple playing partners. Now, all of that is lost to me, and again I walk alone.
After today, I feel that I will no longer have the energy to support the hope I once had. It is with a heavy heart that I have reached a decision. Ubique's Weekly will never live up to the potential that it has if things continue to progress as they have been. Which in truth is a lack of progress entirely. One of the hardest things a person can do is admit failure, and trust me. This is no easy admission that I make. Nor was it an easy decision to come to. But I feel it is the only choice I have left.
My hope with Ubique's Weekly was that people would be inspired by what they read here. That more collaboration and cooperative roleplaying would be carried out. Much to my dismay, only the opposite has happened. There is less and less information being shared. Less inspiration to be had. The original concept of Mutual Endeavors was to encourage players to remember to share information with each other through simple e-mails. But even as easy as AOL's programming makes e-mail to be, that simple task is one that most people are oblivious to. Storylines progress and those involved are also oblivious to what has transpired. Simply because not one person ever thinks to e-mail the others involved. This is a continous problem that I would like to see remedied, but I know now that dream will never become a reality.
Every effort that I have put into achieving this goal has all been in vain, and it has taken me this long to realize it. I have wasted nearly a year and a half of my life struggling to accomplish great things, and I have only been left with great disappointments. Perhaps I should have listened to my own words when I told others that great expectations only lead to greater disappointments. Much to my dismay, Ubique's Weekly has become my greatest disappointment of all.
As of today I am disbanding the Ink Wire Associates. Their help has been tremendous and I greatly appreciate the efforts that they have put in to helping me fight the good fight. But there comes a time in which eventually one must retreat, and now is that time. Ubique's Weekly is nothing without the collaboration shared by other players, and with each week that has passed I have seen less and less of that. The repetitive nature of this publication is disheartening as well. There is not one person to blame for that. If any blame can be placed, it should be upon myself. For expecting far too much out of far too many people.
I do not know what the future holds, but there may come a day in which I change my mind. There may yet be a day in which I decide to reassemble the Ink Wire Associates and pick up where I left off. My brother once told me that every relationship ends the way it began. With that logic, it is possible that Ubique's Weekly began because of failure to communicate. And thusly it would be true that it all has come to an end for the exact same reasons. There is no communication any more. There never was, and I feel that there never will be.
At this point I have decided to cancel all future publications of the newsletter. This issue number 70 is the last that any of you shall read. Perhaps not forever, but at least for a good long while. I do not know if I will ever find the inspiration to start again, but if I do you few subscribers will be the first to know. I will save the current mailing list as it stands. Perhaps the listed names will still be active in the future. Perhaps not. None of us can predict the future.
The truth of it all is that I have grown tired of fighting. While I will continue to play, I have given up on dreaming and hoping. An open invitation stands to all subscribers. If at any time you are curious about what the Editor in Chief of Ubique's Weekly is currently up to, feel free to visit my LiveJournal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/ehzoterik. With less time being spent compiling this newsletter, I will also be working on updating the archives for the website that I intend on keeping up for as long as I hold the account at http://www.geocities.com/ehzoterik/UW.html.
There comes a time in everyone's life when one must set aside wasted dreams. Some dreams were just not meant to ever come true. Disappointing, depressing, and disheartening. Yes. But the truth of the matter is that I no longer have the strength to keep on keeping on. As it is, I will print the news for the past two weeks as I have always done. Read through them or skip over them as you always do. I have given up on caring what it is anyone chooses to do concerning this newsletter. I have given up on trying. This is a dream that I must set aside for now. A rainy day may yet come in which I change my mind, but until then...
Top Story! Originally I was going to write an article that talked about the values of doing research about a topic before one posted about it in pubic boards, or used such things in role playing. For example, if one wants to play a Celt from pre-Christian Britain, doing some research on this topic would be a great asset to giving the character depth and believability. It occurred to me though that most readers out there already have this concept in mind, and taking this simple concept and stretching it out to a nice long article was too much work for my lazy self to want to accomplish at this time. Besides, I came up with an idea that I liked a lot more to write about. Getting submissions for Top Story articles is about as common as getting a glass of fresh water on Mars. It is not beyond the realm of possibility, but it just has not happened yet. So what to do about this frustration? One thing that our Editor in Chief has done is tossed out so-called "homework" assignments to all the readers out there. One common example is the challenge to hunt down someone and try to get them to join the UW mailing list. It is an idea that is worth a shot, so I thought that I would give it a go. Here is my challenge to all of you. Actually, it is more of a contest. Consider the following scenario: Your favorite character is trapped in a featureless concrete cell with only the following items. A copy of Highlights magazine, a pack of Juicy Fruit gum, a deck of playing cards, an ounce of unsweetened baker's chocolate, a 9-volt battery, a frizzy rainbow haired clown wig, and a note explaining that they would not be freed until they used all of the items in at least one fashion. No magical or psionic abilities work while trapped. What would your character do? What sort of uses (if any) would your character put to the items in the room? Send the answer to DarkAngelGenesis with the subject header "Top Story." I will go through these and post one of the results I get in the next Top Story. Come on, don't be shy. I would love to hear from all of you.

Gen-Gen, I wold like to thank you for the effort you put into this article. Though it is all pretty much pointless now, it was a brilliant idea. Hang onto any and all submissions you receive. Who knows? I may or may not change my mind and return to the newsletter in the future. And if I do I'll be turning to you once again as my Storyline Spotlight Editor. You'd better believe it!
Storyline Spotlight Death comes for us all, some sooner than others. In the case of one dark elf, death paid an unexpected visit and all too soon. Micarryl, more commonly known as Mica to his friends was brutally murdered, and some rather gruesome evidence of this deed was delivered to Kaleb Elemmiire Rei when he was having a drink in the Rambling Rose Tavern. Word has it that Rei was horribly shaken up by this, and he has since vowed to find a way to bring his friend back from the dead. There is no guarantee that this quest will be a successful one, or if Mica will be grateful to be resurrected and pulled away from the afterlife. One thing is quite clear. Rei's sense of ethics and his bonds of friendship are being tested like they have never been before.

This Just In Well, I know *I* had a full schedule this week. There seems to be a tapering off of headlines, be it that people aren't just playing, or they aren't submitting. Remember, you can always reach me with anything at

. Even if you don't want to write the headline yourself, give me details and I'll do it for you. Here's what we DID get this week: Northedge Notations: There has been a fire at the local academy run by Sydney and Don Harada, where several of the younger residents currently attend. Only a forth of the top floor of the main building was destroyed, and clean-up and rebuilding has already began. No students were harmed in the fire, as the blaze only ripped through the teacher housing. To date Don and Sydney Harada are missing and presumed dead. Unsolved Mysteries Rerun: Anyone with information on various cases, including the murders of Aileen Hodgeson, Dorothy Peterson, Becky Johnson, Howard Conway, Patricia Miller, Stella Donaldson, and Paul and Mary Hanson is strongly urged to contact Deputy Marshall Wynter. Leave a message with the local PD, or a voice message at 940-555-7002. Remember, your local authority needs your help to solve these cases. You will not be asked to give your name or information about yourself.
Words of Thanks: Rhydin Family Charities would like to thank all those who made gifts of time and money during this holiday season and would like to foster the spirit of giving throughout the year. It's never too late to contributions. Competitors or Allies?: A month ago the Editor In Chief received an e-mail from a reliable roleplaying resource concerning the creation of an alternative Rhy'Din newsletter. In regards to the Red Dragon Inn Community, the speculative title of this newspaper is known as the Dragon's Breath. As far as our sources are aware, this newspaper is still a project in the works. We here at UW intend on giving our support to the cause and perhaps forming a future alliance should all work according to plan. An organization known as Realm of Rhydin is behind the creation of this newspaper. Though from what can be seen, most of this newspaper is web-based. Players are encouraged to review the Dragon's Breath at their leisure, and perhaps offer up some assistance and support where needed. So far things are looking up in regards to cooperative freeform roleplaying, collaboration, and keeping fellow players informed. Dear Somebody: For the past month now we have included a repeated Headline concerning the idea of dedicating a new section to the newsletter that covers a question and answer series. Much like the Dear Abby seen in standard newspapers, we here at Ubique's Weekly are suggesting the implimentation of a similar editorial dedicated to characters. Half of what we write is for the players, and the other half is for the characters. So why not give our characters another way of expressing themselves in their world? Recently the Editor In Chief submitted a query to one of our subscribers in hopes of adding a new name to the list of Ink Wire Associates. We're glad to announce that they said YES! It's Dear Ava, as in Ava the Kestriel (SN: The Multifarious). We look forward to this new section of the newsletter.
Mutual Endeavors on the Web: With the appointment of the Ink Wire Associates, the Editor In Chief has been looking forward to improving the decor of the office located on the World Wide Web. As of yet we have received no word from our official Newsletter Archive Editor concerning progress. Please be patient during this process, and hopefully in the future there will be more listed in the archives for review. Well, that's the news for this week. Until next time, I'm still :
--The Elusive Jess Collaborative Headline Editor Ubique's Weekly Mutual Endeavors
Jess, I would at least like to thank you for trying. Volunteering for the role of Collaborative Headline Editor. Thank you very much for trying. I only wish that you received more recognition for your place in the Ink Wire Associates. If the future changes, I will definitely be sending you an e-mail as an open invitation to return to my side.
In Other News... Ah... One of the portions of the newsletter that I know everyone skims over. I really don't think I need to say much more about it, so here's the news as I have it. To make it easier on myself, I'm going to split it off into sections.
News for the week of 1/31/05:
Alexander Camael Woods (Terra Nephilim): He's been a little sick lately, and why not? Earth is slow to change and hard to stop, yet this week has been nothing but vaccilating extremes! From his brother being mindlessly accosted by an FBI agent -- and the studies of revenge he's considered, but not yet taken -- to going on a splendid date, the teenaged nephilim has no clue what to make of life. Stability? What's that? Alexander Camael Woods (Emerald Mirror): It's been an emotional roller coaster this week. First, he found out his friend Mica had been brutally murdered. Then he was accosted by a so-called FBI agent at the Rambling Rose, when he was simply trying to get ahold of himself. Perhaps most strangely, his twin brother went on an actual DATE with a GIRL this week! Is the world coming to an end? He certainly thinks so! Anna (AriannaRavenwood): The blue sister continues to stay out of the public eye.
Ariana (ArianaMacGyldren, SMI Ariana): The green sister, along with her husband Galen (Galen MacGyldren) and daughter Elaine (Elaine Aqua), still resides at her husband and brother in law's clan lands. Ariana made two relatively brief appearances at the Silver Moon Inn this past week, one with her daughter Elaine, but otherwise she continues to stay out of the public eye, save to work at her Bakery as usual.
Aya Aillister (Destiny of Music): The bard-girl is happy as can be, in her life as a Valkonan-ward, warm for the winter and surrounded by friends and love. And if she's feeling a little under-the-weather these days, it's certainly not a problem with attitude. Better to be a little tired indoors, than cold and wet in the snow, right?
Carmine (TaciturnMerc): Whatever vitamins this man is taking sure are working for he not only is acting a lot younger, but he actually looks the part as well. Filled with a renewed burst of energy, he has accepted a job to help clear out a series of caverns of monsters so that a group of miners may work in safety.
Carolyn Valkonan (DreamsInBurgundy): Seems the dreamer's mood is on the upswing, although the 'why' is anyone's guess. She's been busying herself doing a million little things in her lab. Some of this might be suspicious, except the noise that tends to emanate in the evenings is either rock music or the sound of a sewing machine, of all things. Who knew?
Deputy Marshall Wynter (Rachael Wynter): The scarred law woman in black continues to work on wrapping up certain investigations (see Headlines). Rachael received information about a recent series of ritualistic murders from an anonymous informant and still investigates this lead. She still works closely with Doctor Nigel Newborn from RCSI on this case. Rachael recently ventured to the Rambling Rose Tavern to investigate a case of minors being assaulted on the premises. Other than that public appearance, her other ongoing investigations continue to keep the Deputy Marshall out of the public eye.
Doctor Maranya Tatiana Valkonan (Maranya Valkonan): Not much change here, she's tending to her patients as usual, including one of the tenders at the Silver Moon Inn. The good Doctor continues to spend time volunteering her medical services at a local free clinic. Maranya is very pleased with Jack's ongoing efforts to repair the damages to her ranch's landscaping from the invading zombies, said damages forcing a temporary cancellation of the Winter Wonderland fundraising events there. The good Doctor made a public appearance at the Rambling Rose Tavern and the Silver Moon Inn, but has since stuck to dealing with her patients at Riverview Clinic and making things comfortable for her new Siamese kitten, Zorro, at her ranch.
Dris (BardGaIIant): Dris has been trying to make good on his promise to visit the Rambling Rose Tavern more often, but life as usual keeps him preoccupied. Especially since he hasn't been able to work up the nerve to drag Carmine out with him on most occassions.
Elaine (Elaine Aqua): No solo exploring jaunts for Elaine at all. She was out with her Ma (Ariana MacGyldren) the other night at the Silver Moon Inn as the eleven year old currently suffers spats of restlessness at night due to the winter weather. Elaine is applying herself to her studies at Northedge Academy. The eleven year old also helps her Ma, Aunty Allison and Melly (Allison Reynor and Melanie Wyndham) with the baking and decorating at her Ma's Bakery. Elaine still misses Beauty but is consoled by taking care of the rest of Empress Emerald of Grayfur's kittens, though she's still grumpy that she's not allowed to name the kittens. Elaine really misses her brother Banshee (Banshee Aqua) and really truly doesn't believe he's truly gone.
Faye: She Who Tends the Dead (Faye Random): Still hibernating.
Irina Braeden (Irina Braeden): In this week's installment, the only news of note for this native Rhydin resident was that she was spotted at the Rambling Rose Tavern, the Silver Moon Inn and the Self Serve Tavern this past week. Issue #29 of Bright Suns has also been spotted on the racks at Comic Masters in town and Issue #30 is due out soon. Stay tuned.
Joker (SMI Joker, Richard D Harker): The flirtatious bartender for the Silver Moon Inn didn't tend his usual shift this week. Joker is still worried about his younger brother Nige (Peter N Harker). The eldest Harker brother is currently undergoing anger management counseling along with his usual medical treatments from the Valkyrie (Maranya Valkonan). Joker enjoys trying out the present Rhi (Rhiannon D Brock) got him on some of the winding roads around Rhydin.
Leon Southfield (Leon Southfield): Frantic and frenetic, the eldest Southfield is practically a second sun these days, his perpetual good mood even better (to the great annoyance of the Northedge goths). What's gotten INTO this kid?? Lyssa (Lyssa Bjornson): Ariana's shy dollmaking daughter continues to make dolls based on dreams she's been having for a still undetermined reason. Matakhat Cain (Matakhat Cain): Not a good week for Cat. The father of the little boy that Syd and Don took in less than a year ago stepped forward and now the family is forced to give James up to him. Her natural brother died when she was young and she has never quite gotten over that, and now she is losing another. Cat's struggling to come to terms with the loss and deal with the grief of her parents.
Melly (Melanie Wyndham): The shy relief baker actually ventured out to tend bar at the Silver Moon Inn this week, in the place of a certain tender fellow. She ended up having plenty of time to dust and rearrange the bottles behind the bar as there were next to no customers to tend to during her time there. Will Melly tend bar again? The world may never know. Mer Harriss (Heavy Metal Mer): It would seem the Virtual Adept has been busy enough teaching young Jedi how to shoot, that she's been under the weather herself! Worn out a bit? Likely it hasn't improved her temper. It's just a cold, luckily. She's avoided spreading her plague by staying out of the public eye, but will likely be tending bar at the Rambling Rose again come the end of the week.
Micarryl (Still More Drow): L'uss dos ph'galla ulu ul'plyr zhah elghinyrr. Qualla kku lu'xo'al 'sohna.
Mithril (ASaintOfSinners): Rumor has it that he made a brief stop to a shop in Earth to sell cleaning brushes. What an odd thing for a man like this to be doing.
Morgan Knight (Morgan Rampage): He cooked. And no one died from it. The world is coming to an end.
Orion Ksyhsravor (Orion Ksyhsravor): The Jedi isn't normally one for showing emotion, but lately he's had such an immensely pleased aura about him people might almost think he's *normal*. The Force must be with him.
Pleione (Stellar Balinese): Once again ... Pleione has disappeared.
Rei (AmethystStarfall): Rei is mourning the loss of his friend Mica and blaming himself for his death. In addition to this he has decided to go on a quest to see if he can discover or at least earn the means to bring his friend back from the dead. He is ignoring everyone that is trying to tell him that such an endeavor is a bad idea. Rusty (IDPC Rusty RM): The rather surly Dwarf, having finally arrived in Rhydin to take up his responsibilities, was spotted near closing time in the Rambling Rose Tavern one night this past week. One comment overheard had something to do with the slow painful demise of his Travel representative...perhaps this explains the lengthy delay in his arrival?
Salvador (Peculiar Silence): Only through the grapevine did Sal hear about the death of his friend Mica. He has been disturbed that for some reason he did not pick up on the event clairvoyantly as has happened on countless other occassions. Even concerning people he does not know. When Carolyn told him what happened, he went directly to Rose's Thorn Tattoo and Piercing Parlor and asked for a new addition. Evidence has it that he is now sporting a black teardrop tattoo just beneath the tear duct of his right eye. In regards to Mica's death, or anything else, he has been more silent than usual.
Terrance Tomar-Duncan (Terrance Tomar): Still out of town.
Valanthe Air'loki (Valanthe Airloki): The young sorceress had the misfortune of taking an abrupt detour from her mission in Faerun early this past week. While spending some time recuperating, she had time to spend in the company of a most charming young gentleman. However she seems reticient about providing details, although she blushes most prettily when asked!
Vance Marsters (LtMarsters): After being missing in action for nearly two years, the soldier from the future has returned to Rhydin. Badly injured from his travels, he nonetheless has procured gainful employment with BlackJack Adventures as their resident Marksman, and held his first class recently. He has been spotted frequently in The Rambling Rose Tavern. When asked about where he has been, his only reply has been "you don't want to know". He spotted a certain Bard that he knew, and remembers that they are related, but not exactly how.
Yoshi (KitsuneNineTails): He has accepted a job to sell some brushes and has recruited the assistance of some allies to assist him with this endeavor. Sounds simple enough right?
Zetarris (Zetarris): Z is still away on business. Any anthropomorphic giraffes selling cleaning brushes (while wearing zebra print suits and leopard print ties) in local taverns that may resemble him in any way are strictly coincidental.

News for this week of 2/7/05:
Alexander Camael Woods (Terra Nephilim): Fires and explosions! Damn and damn again! Rules against magick be hanged; the dean's wife is gone anyway, so what's the harm if he begins his work on an earth-element shield for the school? This is Rhydin, so one could happen any day now, after all.
Aya Aillister (Destiny of Music): The poor bard girl has been a mass of aches recently. But who's surprised, given her lifestyle change? It'll all go away soon enough, right? It's not like she has time to worry about it. She has a Carolyn to comfort.
Carolyn Valkonan (DreamsInBurgundy): It's been a rough week for the little dreamer, with news of losses abounding. She's always been easily excitable and swayed by emotion, and she almost went into overload this past weekend at the Rambling Rose, especially with the fire at Northedge. It's all she can do to keep it together--or maybe it's just springtime. Hopefully this too will pass.
Cassandra Tyra (Against Descent): She hasn't been seen much in public lately. Apparently she's been busy with her job, and with being in counselling, of sorts. Rumour has it, however, she's going to be doing a bit of counselling on her own, in an attempt to reach out to someone in a situation somewhat similar to hers.
Colleen MacLeod (PrlUnicorn, SMI Colleen): At the SMI, recently, Collie was chasing down a pint-sized wielder of a wooden spoon. The toddler was last seen fleeing for the tending side of the bar and his father, Ithildirnen's (SMI Ithildirnen), protection.
Doctor Maranya Tatiana Valkonan (Maranya Valkonan): Not much change here, she's tending to her patients as usual, including one of the tenders at the Silver Moon Inn and a young woman with emotional problems. The good Doctor made a public appearance at the Rambling Rose Tavern, but has since stuck to dealing with her patients at Riverview Clinic and making things comfortable for her new Siamese kitten, Zorro, at her ranch.
Dris (BardGaIIant, SMI Dris): Still being asked to bring Carmine around for a visit at the Rambling Rose some time. Apparantly Dris has friends who havent' met the mercenary yet. And they actually want to meet him! What can this mean for the pair of them? More actual public knowledge? Oh my!
Faye: She Who Tends the Dead (Faye Random): Still hibernating.
Gem (Gemethyst): Gem was in a whirlwind relationship, with a black knight who said he wanted to wed her. She was swept off her feet, quite literally. There was a ring and everything, and a meeting with her son and various other members of her "family", and the knight "passed inspection". However it was all going too fast, and the man seemed to be so intense and overwhelming, she could not keep up. She asked for some time, and that request sent the knight out of her life for good. He did not like her need for time. It is over, and so, leaving a note for her son while he was off doing his mysterious mission, she left on her own dangerous trip to raid a temple of human sacrificing priests. Her time away was unspecified, though the probable location of the temple was given to her son in the note. As ever, when hurting, her work is able to ease her...the more dangerous, the better the easing.
Irina Braeden (Irina Braeden): In this week's installment, the only news of note for this native Rhydin resident was that she was spotted at the Rambling Rose Tavern, the Silver Moon Inn and the Self Serve Tavern this past week. Issue #30 of Bright Suns has been spotted on the racks at Comic Masters in town. Stay tuned.
James Tanner (Gentleman Jim T): The recently arrived gambler has ben seen frequently in the Rambling Rose tavern, and has most recently aquired a room at the renowned Silver Moon Inn. Those who watch closely have seen that he has quite a way with that well worn deck of cards he carries with him.
Joker (SMI Joker, Richard D Harker): The flirtatious bartender for the Silver Moon Inn finally changed his shift at the Silver Moon Inn to Sunday nights and has actually had enough customers to keep him busy as a result.
Kakabel (Celestial Sorrow): Secretly he is quite pleased that Gem's latest romance flopped. Does he show it? Not at all. At the moment he's a little concerned about his son. Not to mention Pleione's whereabouts. Of course, the cat is less important than Rei's behavior. Just what is going on? Mer Harriss (Heavy Metal Mer): The Adept's been having severe mood swings lately. Maybe it's PMS (take cover!) or maybe just shock? In any case, she recently met a friend she'd thought was dead. With the way things seem to have gone, maybe death would've been kinder to him. As it is, the news of her recent engagement seems to be spreading now, and with it--talk of 'wedding dresses'. OH HELL NO.
Orion Ksyhsravor (Orion Ksyhsravor): He met an old friend of Mer's, and wasn't impressed in the slightest. He was, in fact, so annoyed he nearly smacked the guy. Is the Jedi headed towards the dark side, or is he just pissy? (Hint -- it's the second.) But all things considered, life is good for him.
Pleione (Stellar Balinese): Still no sign of the balinese. Has she run away for good?
Rachael MacLeod (RachaeI MacLeod): Rachael and her lifemate, Sulrin (SMI Sulrin), are making preparations for spring. They plan to return to the talan in Mellor with their daughter, Limelenath.
Rhiannon D. Brock (Rhiannon D Brock): In answer to Joker's question, she said, "Yes!" In addition to the plain gold band she's been wearing for the last few months, Rhi's now sporting a silver claddagh ring, which features a heart shaped sapphire as its centerpiece. Word is the couple plans an early summer wedding.
Salvador (Peculiar Silence): Most of Sal's time has been spent sitting through classes pretending that he doesn't exist. Though his teachers might be a little concerned about his lack of interest and concentration on his studies. He has been more distant and silent than usual these past few weeks.
Stephen Valkonan (Stephen Valkonan): During the recent explosion and fire at Northedge Academy, he managed to pull off a few rescues. The girls' dorm mother, Mrs. Carmicheal, a few of the other teachers, his cats and dog, and Cat's (Matakhat Cain) dog WB. Unfortunately he knows nothing about the whereabouts of Sydney and Donatello Harada...missing, and presumed dead. This makes him very nervous. But what can he say?
