I believe that you can back up the database (I'm learning phpbb and you can with that) so I'd imagine that database backup would be available with this board as well.
I do think, however, that I would kill to help you folks design a less pink scheme (at least insofar as graphic-design, which I can do well). :s:: But that's only personal preference and absolutely not any ill will towards ME or the boards here.
I think that it couldn't hurt at all, though, to get to a stable version and to keep upgrading. As far as I can tell, this is a pretty new forum system and still has room to grow.
It's really not supposed to be pink, and I don't see so much as pink myself. The first layout that Mike showed me was blue and way too much of it. What I wanted was a design that matches the layout of Ubique's Weekly. More of a red-brown and black on white.
Mike played around with the colors quite a lot and eventually came up with this pinkish/mauve sort of scheme. Based off of a theme in our database, it was the best layout he had picked that I liked. The only thing that bugged me were the colors. He worked so hard on it that eventually I just settled on this.
I'm not sure if you can still mess with the colors, but I can ask him. If you're volunteering, I can set you up with permissions to edit the layout, I think. Of course, that'd be an IWA thing. So are you SURE you don't want a position?
