Some times, I love reading how the people behind the characters think.

Interviewing the mundane is what we're supposed to be doing. The point is to find out what inspired the player to come up with the character. Asking the player to tell us the why's and wherefor's. I think the Zonker article is one of the best that shows what I wanted overall.

But I don't want to get too personal, because I do know how private and secretive most players prefer to be. I just like to know where they came up with the idea of the character. What inspired him or her to be brought into existence. What sort of history they developed for the character and why. Where the character is destined to go in the future. All that fun stuff.

I suppose I'm being idiotic. I can get off my lazy ass and start writing hat-tips toward people in the OOC section too.

Something to think on. Maybe we could fill in the Top Story! feature section with something like that sometime. My biggest concern is the Storyline Spotlight section. We never seem to have anything for that.

Anyway...

Received three nominations: Suliss, Alysia, and Arachne. Went with those and plugged in two of the other top names of my own choosing. The poll is up now and ready to receive voting until May 17th at midnight.
