Time to get a head start again. The next issue of Ubique's Monthly is scheduled for release in just five days! By the time I have everything compiled, formatted, filled in, published and sent to the mailing list, I'll want to already have the next poll put up on the front page of the site too.

I'd like to have the next Character Spotlight poll started on Sunday, March 2, 2008. And I'd like to end it on Saturday, March 15, 2008. That will leave it running again for two weeks, with another two weeks left to whoever volunteers for or gets volunteered to do the interviewing and writing for the April issue of Ubique's Monthly. Trying to keep a regular schedule. Wow. I feel so professional.

So! With the exception of Zonker and, if you haven't figured it out by now, Maia, who would you like to nominate to be put on the next poll for the April issue's Character Spotlight feature? Now taking names!

You know who I'd like to see on the next poll? Panther. I think some DM people need to be put on the ballot, and since he's the head honcho over there why not start with him? If anyone seconds that nomination...

If DM connected characters are being accepted, should I assume that includes those whose players may not be members here? If so, I nominate my favorite pixie, Amthy (Amthyst Oak).

ME has never been and never will be about the membership here versus there. It's about role-playing in general, everywhere. And Ubique's reports on all role-play that happens anywhere. For we are ubiquitous. We are role-players. No matter what our game and no matter where we may be. Some day I hope people realize that.

So. Yes. Amthy is perfectly acceptable! I adored that little pixie when I used to see her.

By the way, and note I haven't checked InkWire's inbox in a few hours, is Zonker still in a coma?

Yes, Zonker is still in a coma. Wasn't sure if "situation unchanged" warranted a new entry in this month's UM.

Oh man. I can think of at least three women that are going to hug him and then beat the crap out of Zonker if he decides he has the cojones to wake up.

Ariana is definitely going to hug/beat Zonker once he wakes up. She's still pissed off that a certain party, who has a habit of gossiping about EVERYBODY and their health, didn't say boo about her adopted father's condition to her.

Personally, I'm just glad that the SL was written about and made public in UM, otherwise I the player wouldn't know about it, either.

As for nominations, once again, I nominate Collie. Though I like Amthy, too. That's it, I nominate both of them.
