As some quick background:

Maria is a writer of texts for Conservatories and Universities as well as for various magazines, most of them 'zine' based and underground.

Maria was a name given to her by her dearest friend and partner, a Russian man who ended up in Rhy'Din about the same time she did. If he is referred to it is by the name Anka, a diminutive for Anastas.

She is brooding, brash, aloof, indolent, charming, crude, sees the light side to life but is also broken; she was bashed and left for dead and though grateful to survive, is wanting to know who she was before the incident.

There are spontaneous, non-linear, non story coherent posts that I will make to describe the possible lifes she has led. Though a grungey youth, a fringe dweller by choice, there is a suggestion she is a queen cum vagabond, incognito and unknowing. There is a lot of comedy, though subtle, in the writing for this character, so some scenes may be obscure, but partly with the intent to make the reader smile, as this character is written with glee.
