Dear Mike,
I love you and want to have your babies.
In a strictly, "Thank you for helping out Ez," way.
But. (And there's always a but, isn't there?)
I have an issue. This issue is with Mutual Endeavor's Fireboard and how it handles quotes in replies.
If you hit "reply," and go to reply to a post where someone has quoted text, if you notice, the quoted text in the box of replied (below) are surrounded by a 1px dotted/dashed border with a different background color.
For instance, like so:
This means, somewhere within the CSS for this fireboard is a place where the CSS for quotes can be edited. I would like very much if we could put a border around them, or
something more than what it is right now--because what we have right now is pretty much nothing.
If a user doesn't physically change the color or make the text italics or indicate some how, them selves, that it's a quote, it'd be really easy to mistake it as part of the rest of the text in a post. Not to mention, when one hits the "quote" button withint the Boardcode (not the quote found within the reply, delete, edit buttons) there really IS nothing to indicate there is a quote. Like this:
This is quoted text but you wouldn't know it unless I changed the look of the text somehow myself.
So, since I cannot access the CSS from the admin panel myself to see what our template looks like--could you please look into it and see if you can at least, put a small light gray dotted or dashed border around our quotes?
Thank you!
-Your Future Baby Momma,
Mel.
