That means you can nominate anyone from anywhere. I don't care where they play. DM, AOL, Rhilshen, Yahoo, IRC (if there are still role-play groups there), LJ, some other forum or community I'm not aware of.

In fact... If there are other forums and communities out there that I myself and Mutual Endeavors as a whole isn't aware of, I want to hear about them. I want to add them to our affiliates. Role-play is role-play, no matter where it happens and no matter who takes part in it.

So far I've got three nominations with seconds: Amthy, VikiChylde, and NorseLady.

Then there are other nominations for Sulissurn and Colleen again. As well as my own suggestion for Panther. Excluding that last one, that gives us five. I won't be posting the poll until the first of March, which still gives everyone a couple of days. If there are no further nominations, preferably with seconds, before then, I'll go with Amthy, Colleen, NorseLady (is her name still Shylah?), Sulissurn, and VikiChylde (is that also her character's name?).

Viki Chylde is the screen name and also the character name (though the proper name, I believe, is Victoria Alexandra Chylde).

All righty! All these seconds make my job easier, so thank you to everyone who posted nominations. The next poll for the next Character Spotlight nominees will be visible on March 1, 2008 when the March issue of Ubique's Monthly will be available for viewing, aka: published.

The nominees I have chosen are as follows: Amthy (and I hope I did right by listing her as Amethyst Oak), Panther (seconded by elf_fu), Shylah (which I remember NorseLady's character name being), Suliss'urn Xukuth (no second, but I'm being biased because I can), and Victoria Chylde (VikiChylde).

Again the parameters are set to only allow one vote per person, member names and IP addresses recorded for this purpose. If people would prefer me to allow multiple voting, speak now or forever hold your peace. I much prefer the one vote per person so that the scales can't be tipped by those few who check back regularly. But that's only my opinion. Others may think differently.

The voting will run for two weeks, ending on March 15, 2008 at midnight. After which time, as usual, an interviewer will be assigned. Either through volunteering or by me volunteering someone. Muhaha! That will give the assigned interviewer two weeks in which to conduct the interview and write the article, to have it complete and submitted by the March deadline of Sunday the 30th.

It's Amthyst rather than Amethyst, actually. I know it took me a while to get that right, even after I knew her a while cuz I always wanted to type amethyst.. but yeah. People know who you're talking about though, so it's all good.
