This new forum gets more attention than the old one, so I figured why not try advertising again...

Has anyone on this forum ever read the Ghatti's Tale series of books by Gayle Greeno? That's the first question. If the answer is no, then don't bother responding to this advertisement. Unless of course you may possibly be intrigued enough to consider reading them.

A couple of friends and I are looking to develop an SL based on the books. We are playing non-specific non-canon characters based on the series. Original characters based off of the idea of the books. So what we're looking for are people interested in playing a Seeker and/or a ghatti pairing to develop the Seekers Veritas into Rhydin.

We're having a hard time finding players who have actually read the series and have any idea what the basis is. If you're curious, we suggest you first read the books. There are three total.

* Book One: Finders-Seekers
* Book Two: Mindspeaker's Call
* Book Three: Exiles' Return

All by Gayle Greeno, falling under the saga of The Ghatti's Tale. There have been other books published in the series since then, but the main basis is structured off of those original three. Again, we want original characters based off the idea. None of the actual characters from the books such as Doyce and Khar'pern (if you've read the books you know what that means, if not then whatever).

We could teach anyone the basis, but preferably we don't want to sit there and hold somebody's hand through the entire gaming experience. Information provided. If interested, please respond.
